January 2021: Battery I had ordered before this one didn't work with my Dell. This one worked! After fully charging the battery I tested the length of time it lasted on just the battery power. After 3 hours I still had 11% battery remaining. And that's having a streaming radar weather software running in the background, watching YouTube videos, screen on 75% brightness, and surfing the net. Great product...UPDATE Nov 7, 2022: Less than 2 yrs later, the battery isn't fully charging. I had it unplugged the other day while fully charged and got a message after 30 minutes that the Battery was getting low. Now battery wont fully charge anymore. Reduced to 4 stars

Overall, I'm quite satisfied, but I am glad I bought 2 because it holds about 4 hours of charge on my laptop, and I'm in my computer basically 80% of my day! I purchased a battery charger as well, so it works quite nicely having one charged and ready to go when the other dies!Good news is, it will send an onscreen "low battery" warning about 30 minutes before it shuts down your computer, so that's been helpful!

The battery is fine, the value is excellent, and the whole thing is routine. I will compliment the vendor (AETY) for the fastest turnaround and delivery I have enjoyed on Amazon, for the entirely positive experience, and for their follow up. If it makes a difference, I cannot live without my laptop for more than a few hours, and am an ageing boomer, computer illiterate and totally uninterested in micromanaged comparisons which obfuscate details. I want straightforward, and that is what this vendor provided.

Doesn’t work.

I purchased this battery July 3, 2019 and it now needs to be replaced, May 6, 2020. It is plugged in but not charging; at 5%. Not happy! It is a good initial value... but must last longer than 11 months.

I put this into an Inspiron 5000 I have had for about 5 years, this is the second replacement battery I have had to get so I am hoping this performs better than the previous one I got ( can’t recall where I got that last one ) because it gave out after about 6 months.

I had my last battery die after 2 years of use, and needed a replacement. Perhaps my old battery had became worse over time, but this battery was like a night and day difference! It's life is longer, and it seems to charge just S fast as the initial battery that came with the laptop. I am very happy with this purchase
