My 21 plate Skoda Kodiaq came with wired apple car play and constantly plugging my iphone in and out was a real pain. After almost 2 years I decided it was time to try something different and give this a go. All I can say is "wow". It works seamlessly and was a 30 second job to set up. Within a max of 15 secs of starting the car my phone is connected and apple carplay is up and running with good quality audio and no drop outs. I have only been using this for a few days so can't comment on how well built it is, but if it fails quickly I will come back and update this review. Just remember you will need to use another power source to charge your phone, but this shouldn't be a problem for most cars. ******Quick tip for Kodiaq drivers and those with similar layouts**** To allow me to fit this in with the small front cubby hole which contains the apple carplay usb in, I used a right angled USB converter along with the USB cable supplied with the product. This reduces the risk of the device being damaged when placing any items in the cubby and allows the lid to be closed so that I can place my phone there. The right angled USB converters can be purchase on Amazon for a very reasonable price.

This wireless CarPlay adapter is exactly what I needed. Just plug it in and it works instantly—no setup required. My iPhone connects automatically every time I start the car. The device is super compact and doesn’t get in the way. Connection is fast and stable, with no lag or drops. A must-have if you’re tired of plugging in a cable every time!

Easy to set up, works really well. Although it does connect with multiple phones it’s a bit fiddly swapping from one to the other hence only 4 stars. Otherwise great price and does what I wanted

I’ve had a go with a CarPlay adapter before – and honestly, it was a right faff. Clunky, unreliable, and always needing to be turned off and on like some grumpy router. In the end, I binned it – couldn’t be doing with the stress. But fast forward a year, and I still found myself wanting wireless CarPlay. adapter as I was fed up with plugging in cables every time I got in the car. So, I thought I’d try again – and bouht this one this time around. I’m pleasantly surprised. As lots of other reviewers said, setup was straightforward: I plugged it in, turned the car on, and paired my phone via Bluetooth. It connected with a code (which I accepted), and although it sat on the pairing screen for about a minute, I just restarted the stereo – and boom! CarPlay came up like a charm. It’s worked beautifully since. Even managed to pair a second iPhone without a hitch. It’s only been a day, so we’ll see how it holds up – but so far, so good. For £39, I think it’s cracking value. Definitely recommend giving it a go if, like me, you’re tired of cables but wary from past disappointments. I’ll report back if it starts playing up – but fingers crossed this one’s a keeper! it came with two short 10cm adapter cables one for USB-C and one for USB-A which I used without issue.

When it works it's great but I find that it often has to be unplugged and plugged back in before I can access the CarPlay menu even though it says it's connected. It also doesn't seem to be compatible with sending messages on WhatsApp, although it will read WhatsApp messages that have been sent to me. Sound quality is good and it was easy to setup.

Great item! Quick and easy to set up and my phone connects automatically when I turn the car on. I haven’t experienced any lag or loss of quality by using this instead of a cable directly plugged int my phone.

As with all these things the original connection was easy to establish and worked perfectly. Two days later the connection was gone and will NOT work. Tried the good old swwitch off/on method. Tried removing and completely reinstalling. Nothing! Utter crap - returning for refund 🤬

Ich bin wirklich begeistert von diesem CarPlay Adapter, weil ich mein iPhone jetzt endlich kabellos nutzen kann und nicht jedes Mal das Kabel anstecken muss. Die Einrichtung war extrem einfach: einstecken, kurz verbinden und schon lief Wireless CarPlay sofort. Die Verbindung wird nach dem Motorstart automatisch hergestellt, was im Alltag richtig angenehm ist. Die Bedienung funktioniert genauso flüssig wie bei kabelgebundenem CarPlay und es gibt keine spürbaren Verzögerungen bei Musik, Navigation oder Telefonaten. Auch die Tonqualität ist top und es gab bisher keinerlei Verbindungsabbrüche. Besonders praktisch ist, dass das Handy einfach in der Tasche bleiben kann und trotzdem alles problemlos funktioniert. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und das Gerät wird während der Nutzung nicht auffällig warm. Auch längere Fahrten funktionieren problemlos, ohne dass die Verbindung neu aufgebaut werden muss. Insgesamt spart man sich viel Zeit und nerviges Kabelchaos im Auto.
