Tuscan Leather Eau De Parfume Spray for Men, 1.7 Ounce

My brother wore it and it caught my attention immediately. It has this cinnamon, herb spice, vanilla, cocoa combo of a scent. It’s potent, which is really nice. It also has a deep rich sweetness to it. Seems to be lasting as well.

I purchased Tom Ford’s tobacco vanilla in the eau de parfum. I had tested in the store the perfume. The perfume did stay on for a few days and then some. The eau de perfume has a slightly different fragrance and doesn’t last as long as the stronger perfume, but for the price difference, I am very satisfied with the EDP. The top notes are slightly more spicy, but as it settles in the fragrance from the perfume surfaces and is quite nice. I had originally gone to buy it for a male friend, but I ended up liking it so I bought some for myself. I walk around sniffing my wrist all day! In the past, I’ve heard the name, Thom Ford, but had never sampled his fragrance line. I think if you’re looking for a new fragrance, you would do well to test his products. They are a superior product. His fragrances are able to be for men or women. I think they lean a little towards the masculine side. But I am enjoying the fragrance very much.

This is my favorite scent. It's Tom Ford, so of course its sexy and exotic, with the scent of tonga beans, vanilla, and musky smoke. It's one of Ford's older scents and is becoming a bit lost amide all his other offerings, but it's still my favorite and is a Modern Classic. The scent is masculine and gives off a fine "rich daddy" vibe. It's a slow-burning, love-making scent. When this is gone, I'll buy it again. Buy the big bottle. You'll want to hoard it. It's not cheap, but it's effective.

Pleasant and not overpowering. I like Tom Ford products a lot, bought this on a whim without smelling first. This is more subtle than something like Ombré Leather and a little softer than Oud Wood. I like it a lot and his products are usually worth the price. Longevity is decent, turns a bit sweeter annd softer over hours.

I bought this mainly out of curiosity because of the mixed reviews. I am a bit of a cologne connoisseur. I pride myself on my ability to reverse-smell the various essential oils and resins used to create colognes and perfumes. I've even made my own from pure ingredients a number of times. I can tell the difference between the real thing and fakes. This one may look sketchy with the gold labeling, but it is definitely high quality true Tom Ford cologne (at least the stuff I got). Second, the smell is incredible. I was dubious that they could capture the rich tobacco smell or if they did, that the vanilla would throw it off or be fake smelling. Once I got it, it was clear Tom Ford delivers. It is exactly like you would expect. The strongest scent I get is Benzoin -- a tree resin with a very sweet honey/vanilla/firewood smell. I love benzoin by itself, but it's a pain to work with due to its viscosity. Next, I get the very unmistakable scent of a humidor at your local pipe tobacco/cigar shop. Very sharp but warm at the same time. Additionally, I get slight hints of clove,cedar, and nutmeg. That combination is great, though I like to mix it with my regular cologne to enhance the uniqueness of the scent and make it more of a daily wear smell. (My normal cologne is more of a lime, grapefruit, bergamont, cedar smell). It certainly IS pricey but the scent has incredible lasting power. One spray literally lasted all day, and I can't say that about most of my other colognes -- even expensive ones. With all this said, the smell is very unique. If you don't like the smell of tobacco and vanilla... don't buy it. I don't understand the negative reviews. If it is too expensive, you don't like the smell of cigars or tobacco or vanilla... then you probably won't like this. Duh. Don't be stupid people. As for some people describing it as an "old person smell," I disagree. It's not AXE, that's for sure, but it's not O. Spice either. If I had to describe it, I'd say its a little Indiana Jones, especially when mixed with a little leather and lime.

The product smells horrendous and I can’t imagine any designer putting his name on that trash. It smells nothing like vanilla and it smells nothing like tobacco. Note to self, never buy perfume on Amazon because you cannot get a refund. Epic fail.
