ESV Scripture Journal: Luke

I am really enjoying my ESV Scripture Journal of the Book of Luke. It has been wonderful to ponder what I read and then take notes on the facing page or in the wide margins around the Scriptures. I'm able to write down my questions, look up pertinent information and notate it below my questions. So when I go back to the journal, I can read both my question and answer again. Also, I love the thought of my family members being able to read my thoughts and notes after I pass away. Lastly, when I'm focused on studying just one book of the Bible, it's been so helpful to travel or carry around just one book vs. my big study Bible. It even fits in my purse, backpack, or briefcase.

If I had a single bone to pick, I wish there were two not pages between the chapters instead of one however I realize that would make the book too thick. Love this as we are currently going through this book in church.

Great for bible study

I am following a sermon series and this journal provides great space alongside the ESV text (tex on one side; journal lines on the right side page). It is compact and nice. The only thing is that it is a fairly cheap paperback and with a long journaling for a book like Luke, it would have been better to place a strong/thicker cover on the book. Even for $1 more, the journal cover would not be showing such weak and tear so fast. The paper is a good quality and does not bleed through.

Love these. Always want to write but margins in regular Bibles are often way too small. This gives me the space to freely write and reflect on the verses I’m reading. It really helps me think about what I read and what it means for us as Christians and for me personally. The only problem I have is that it does not lay flat by itself. That problem aside, I would highly recommend.

Great study book. Plenty of lines on the right side and text on the left. I use a pencil so I don't know about bleed through but the pages look quality. ESV was perfect for what I needed. I cross reference against other versions if I need to.

Love this book. It allows me to me make notes and write down questions for church services. Very worth the purchase. I would buy it again and again as a gift for friends and family.

I love these journals. I use them for my Bible study as much as I can. Good quality.

Product arrived the next day which was awesome. Book however had 2 plastic heat wraps around it. The first layer partially open. White binder around the books had dirty finger marks on it. Page edge also has two dirty finger mark spots.

Simple and handy. I use this is my Luke/Acts class to keep track of notes, and it will be useful for future Bible studies. I also have the Acts section.

Really loving this! Takes discipline, but helps you draw out the truth on each page. Sometimes I want more space, but great to record thoughts on each phrase or verse. I know I will appreciate coming back to it in the future.
