No. This extract (not oil) is made from Viola Tri-color, otherwise known as Johnny Jump Ups. They have neither scent nor flavor. Sweet violets, Viola Odorata, are the fragrant variety, prized for their lovely perfume and flavor.

I had a pretty serious flare-up that grew over a few weeks of ineffective treatments until it covered most of the skin around my mouth, nose, and under my eyes. Huge improvement within a day and completely clear within a few days. I've had several friends clear their pod with these things, too.
