SportPet Designs Soft Sided Cat Carriers, Pattern 20"

I bought this because my cat won't go in the hard car carrier I had. When she hears the rattle of the door hinge She runs for the hills! This little pop-up tent carrier is so cute and the price is very nice! It's works for both of us. As soon as i set it up she went right in. It comes as a small condensed, compact circle that has a elastic band around it with a caution tag. HEED THE CAUTION TAG!! As I was pulling the elastic band off it immediately popped open and flew out of my hands!!! So warning, please do not open directly in front of your face, as it takes off like a shot!! I wear glasses so my eyes would have probably been protected somewhat if it had flown at me. Please don't open around children or pets either as it could be dangerous!! With that said, you just zip it up and it's ready to go. I inspected it thoroughly and the stitching and zipper seemed good and sturdy. My cat is about 9-10 lbs and there was plenty of room in carrier for her, or a fairly small dog. I do wish it had a hard bottom because it sags when you lift your cat in it. I would be afraid to put a heavier cat in it because the bottom is only made of two layers of nylon material. If you look at the bottom of the carrier, there's a hole in the outer layer. For what, I don't know. So I rolled up a small baby blanket and slid it in between the two layers of material and smoothed it out flat, to give it extra strength and padding for my cat. That helped but a hard bottom is better. The windows are made of a material type mesh, so I suppose if you have a cat that likes to bite or has claws, they could rip a hole in the windows, as they aren't made with a heavy fiber. My cat likes to lounge in it occasionally, so I just leave it out for her. The front door has a flap that you can fold aside with velcro so the door stays open all the time for easy access. Makes for a cute cat house! If you don't like the added clutter , just unzip and fold flat for easy storage, as it doesn't take up any space that way. I would not try to contort it back into the circular shape that it came in, or you could get injured trying!! All in all, I like the design, shape and convenience of it, so I would recommend for 10 lb or less animal. Sorry this review was so long but I wanted to give you as much info as possible. I bought this carrier over 2 years ago (if I remember correctly, it was around $15–20), and I still have it. I’ve used it many times — for vet visits with different cats, and not only cats. I even had a baby squirrel and two rabbits staying in it at different times. It basically replaced a small cage for temporary use. For the price, the quality is impressive. The zippers are still intact, nothing broke, and I’ve washed it multiple times. It’s lightweight, compact, and easy to carry, while still holding a 15-pound cat without issues. The only reason I’ll probably replace it now is because my last rabbit chewed it a bit. Otherwise, it’s still usable. Overall, a great budget-friendly option that lasted much longer than expected and works for different small animals.

This is the cat carrier I've been waiting for my whole life. My cat is a big boy, he's 17 lbs. He fits in this just fine - I wouldn't call it spacious, but he's not crammed and it's just for rides to the vet or to visit family 20 min away. He's calm and comfy inside and it's very strong and sturdy. I was concerned it would be weak or delicate, but it really feels hardcore. I will be shocked if it ever fails because of how well made it is. I bought a little cozy pad for the bottom, which keeps him more comfortable and which I would recommend doing. This is also the easiest cat carrier I have ever used, by FAR. And it folds up completely flat, making it able to be kept just about anywhere. This is a must have for any cat parent, I will never use anything else.

I wouldn’t recommend for adult cats unless you have a super chill cat since it doesn’t zipper back up the easiest. This is great for kittens! I’m fostering kittens and this is great for taking them to work everyday and it’s very easy to wash since they’re not all litter trained yet. The bottom doesn’t have any grip so make sure to add a towel to the bottom for car rides.

I don't need cat carriers very often. I needed to replace a carrier I sent off with a cat, and I saw this one. The way it rolled up to such a small size really appealed to me. The reviews were good, price was right, so I got it. I am glad I did! This carrier is great. Put a blanket on the bottom, and cats seem very comfy in it. It is a great size, well made, easy to open, and easier to store. I like that you can lock the zipper so a cat can't paw it open.

I bought this carrier to take a stray kitty to an animal rescue group. The cat is about 7 pounds. He had enough room and the carrier worked for me to take him to the rescue. I would probably not have kept this if it was going to be the main cat carrier for my 9 pound cat as it doesn't seem very sturdy and durable. That said, it was a great deal and perfectly worked for what I needed it for.

This carrier is super lightweight, so be mindful of your cats weight as I wouldn't recommend it for a large or heavy cat. Maybe up to 11-12 lbs. But, the design is unique, and very "cute". It's easy to load your precious cargo and easy to close the zipper. The large side mesh windows and the one on the end where you can easily load your kitty are wonderful. The carrier folds down nicely and can easily be stored under a bed, on a closet shelf, etc. Or, it will coil into a small round circle that's about 6-7 inches in diameter and less than 2 inches thick. So it's even easier to store. I adopted an 8 month old kitten from our local animal control shelter to have a playmate for a 1 yr old I rescued from a very bad situation. I needed a carrier to take her to her furever home. This was inexpensive and worked perfectly and I believe it will continue to do so. Again, it may not be suitable for the larger breeds like Maine Coon, or for cats that are not particularly slim or for cats that struggle to escape. The is a nylon type fabric similar to the fabric used to make hand held umbrellas. If the occupant was aggressively looking for a way out, it wouldn't be too difficult for them to tear their way out. I love this carrier and hope you will too if you choose to purchase one.

Probabilmente ne acquisterò altri, veramente comodo e spazioso, robusto e sta perfettamente nello zaino quando viaggio con la mia gatta, in caso di necessità si apre velocemente e si monta in un secondo, la base è robusta e rigida, non è presente un cuscino o altro all'interno ma è molto pratico, lo consiglio vivamente a chi va in giro col gatto, parecchie volte lo tengo con un moschettone legato in cintura 😊

Achei a sacola muito legal e prática, o fato dela ser facilmente dobravel é ótimo pra guardar, um produto "bem bolado". Ainda não usei para transporte, mas meu gato gostou e está usando como toca. O tecido é bem fino, o que passa a impressão de ser frágil, mas sendo coerente não dá pra esperar ultra resistência e durabilidade tendo em vista o valor que paguei. Ótimo custo benefício. Quando usar para transporte volto aqui para atualizar.

Práctico y resistente. Lo uso para llevari gato al veterinario. Es un gato grande y cupo perfectamente y soportó el peso de mi gato qué es grande y gordo. Parece fraáil pero no lo es.

I wish I’d found this 15 years ago! I have an elderly cat who, unfortunately, has had many health scares. Her current crate is large and cumbersome, and was used for a flight from Ontario to BC. Now that she’s older, I’m extra cognizant of the fact that emergencies happen and time can really be of the essence - a large crate in storage that requires assembly is not ideal. In comes this crate. Man, do I ever wish I’d found this earlier! 1. It’s freaking adorable 2. The price is incredible 3. My cat LOVES going into this and likes to chill in it on her own 4. It’s SO easy to get in an emergency. Grab it, pop it open and it’s ready to go. 5. I expected this thing to sag at the base under the weight of a cat but it doesn’t at all! Some specs: 1. My cat is 8-9lbs 2. You could easily fit two of her in there I could see this being very useful for people who foster kittens. And for emergency purposes, it’s wonderful for adult cats. Love this purchase, at less than 14$ this thing is an absolute steal!
