How do we transition to a post scarcity world run by Solar energy and AI, where work is optional?
Probably the most exciting and scary book I've ever read. 30 years ago I read Iain M Banks culture novels, and it seems we are on the dawn of an age of post scarcity like Banks' novels describe. No one needs to work and everyone can have what they want. But the transition could be messy if society at large isn't aware of whats coming and doesn't take the chance to shape things. The good news after reading this book, you'll not be able to forget what you now know is like gravity. Opinion's dont matter, but taking action with your community is.

Must read positive vision for the future.
A great piece of work giving a positive and achievable vision of the future. Nobody can doubt we have reached a fundamental point of change for civilisation. Free open access to the internet has shown us what’s possible if everybody has free access, look how smart phones enable everybody on the planet access to information and education. This books shows a vision for energy, food and the environment. We all need to stop being consumed by the populist white noise, look up, and aim for the horizon. We all need to do our part, and be brave.. A must read!! Thank you.

Essential reading for leaders in this age of disruption
Tony Seba and James Arbib have carefully and powerfully crafted a text that makes total sense of the technological disruption the world is currently experiencing. They even reference the transformation in comparison with those that happened thousands of years ago to help us gain sound perspective. This book is essential reading for all of us and especially for leaders in government and business who have a responsibility to navigate the best possible course through the challenges of the coming decades.

Important read, well articulated
This is an important vision of the future - optimistic about what we can achieve. Does it overreach? Maybe, but that's the point: we need to.
