I purchased this kit and had it sent to my sister. She phoned me and showed me the entire kit. It was in a lovely boxed package which was wonderful since it was a gift. It has a completed instructional manual and a link to a video tutorial for complete beginners! The quality of the yarn and fabric included was excellent! The printed design was adorable and she loves Santas! I am very pleased for the amount I spent and may actually order other designs for gifts in the future! It came with little snips to cut the yarn and absolutely everything to completed the project. She is taking it with her on a trip and is excited to have a little lap project to keep busy with.

UPDATE: My latest kit purchase came with the yarn threader. Beautiful and easy to use. Need better directions for beginner. ***These kits do not come with a yarn threader***. Come with nearly exact length of yarn needed in some cases. Turned out nice!

I made this embroidery punch Santa and it was super easy! It only took me about 3 hours to finish, and I love how it turned out. I followed the YouTube video on the introductions. It’s such a fun and relaxing project, perfect for anyone who enjoys crafts. It would also make a great handmade gift for the holidays!

If the instructions were better, I would have given this a higher rating. I had to go online to see exactly how to do it. It's a decent quality cute kit. The colors are pretty accurate. For the money, it was a cute kit.

Perfect for both beginners and advanced users who want a quick project. Be sure that your thread hangs loosely, otherwise the loops will continue to pull out of the canvas. Also, when finished punching, you can either use the side you've punched as the finished project, or, you can turn it over to the fluffy side and (using the scissors provided in this kit), trim it down to create a fluffier Santa. It's the 1st time I've tried trimming it, and it's pretty satisfying. Great value for the price, and the colors accurately match those in the photo. Thread is strong but very soft (pleasant to work with).

I was very disappointed. This is not a good kit for beginners. The instructions are confusing. The color guide is ok but there's no real life picture except the tiny one on the box. The hoop could be better quality it is difficult to keep fabric in tight. I bought another kit from a local store which is much better quality for half the price.
