Duux Whisper Flex 2 Smart Fan, Alexa App Control, Stone

Pricey but for me it's worth it. Perfect fan for the bedroom - you can barely hear it on lower speed settings and it moves enough air over the bed to keep you cool. Absolutely no problem sleeping with this fan running. It's also powerful enough on the higher speeds that we've used it to great effect on the landing to push cool air from our portable air con unit into both bedrooms. Ideal for down in the lounge and still be able to watch TV, or have conversations without having to talk over any loud whirring/rattling from the corner. Nice variants in oscillation options. I was so impressed with how quiet it is I immediately bought another for my parents during the summer. Smart function is useful for when my wife has set the fan too high for my liking, and fallen asleep with the remote on her side of the bed. I can turn the fan down from my phone without having to rock the bed getting up to adjust it ;) It does periodically drop off the WiFi for some reason and I have to re-add it. It's a small nuisance but I don't rely on it that much.

Is extremely quiet on setting 1-3 and still very effective if placed 3' from the bed. Works well with the App though do often have to reconnect it on BT. It is a very nice fan. looks good. Recharge is easy. Lasts all night on the battery but also can just run on mains as well . I did buy the battery as an extra and I think well worth doing that. Only downside is the lights on the base. If you are not actually running the fan then the sleep (moon) setting to dim them does not work - so I have to place a brochure over the base else too bright.

actually impressed. quality build. sturdy. remote works great for me, love the 2 different height options. sturdy base. love the control panel. app works well. little bit fiddly to add to WiFi but top tip is to add it to you bluetooth first, then connect to wifi. even the plug cable is impressive and woven rather than plastic. love the oscillation options and it sure packs a punch with the fan power. love that you can control it on the app also and it has scheduling, timers and alexa functionality. i actually bought this one mint condition from amazon resale so it was £130 and i do think even that is over priced. i wouldnt spend £180 rrp on it. a more sensible price point would be £90 i think. Anyway, i love it. Really good fan. 👍

Is a good fan. I bought the gen 1 version of this fan and that was a 5 star purchase. The only negative point on the old fan was the app which did struggle a bit. It shifts a substantial amount of air and can be slowed down so the noise is barely audible. I had it on 7 and the laptops fan was drowning it out. It’s been slightly updated with the various different sweep settings what is a good idea but the slightly annoying thing is the pitch and sweep both default to turning the same way when you start them. If you want to move The angle is pointing at and you come down and stop it to soon then you have to take it all the way up again where as the previous gen would alternate which way it was going in. The app has improved a there is a new version out now (July 2026) which just works so much better than the gen 1 app. The old app refused to attach to my wifi but the new one just worked with the gen 1 fan.

I am very disappointed that not only was the product not fit for purpose but I have also been unable to get any assistance from the Duux customer service team. The fan developed a fault on the first day of use, becoming very noisy before I discovered one of blades had broken. I contacted customer services by email but received no response and was unable to get through by phone, the answer phone message informing they didn’t open until 9.00 am, it’s now 1.40 pm and still the same message. I have now had to arrange a return via Amazon, which is hugely inconvenient as I no longer have the original packaging. Very disappointed with both the product and the aftercare.

Absolutely brilliant fan. Saved me during the heat waves we've had. I did, stupidly, lose a small part as I was assembling it. I contacted the seller to ask if they might replace it. I have to say they were brilliant! They sent me what I needed & didn't charge me for it. If they had I would willingly have paid because it was my fault. Their customer service is first class. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

This fan is very quiet and pleasant to use. BUT After installing and setting it up I find this is NOT The Flex 2 Smart Fan as described misleadingly. It is the Flex 2 Fan and NOT THE SMART MODEL. So it has no wi-fi connectivity and will not work with the Duux app which allows ease of control. I’m stuck with the small remote which required clear line of sight between remote and the sensor which is at ground level. This can be very inconvenient if you have furniture or a bed for example in the way. Rather annoyed to be stuck with this and it’s a big hassle deconstructing it and repacking and sending it back so I’m likely not do that and NOT TRUST AMAZON’S description of products at all in future. It’s a nice fan but only gets 3 stars due to this issue.

Absolutely love this fan! I mainly bought it because it was supposed to be very quiet at night, and it definitely lives up to that claim when you set it to the nightime setting. It’s really easy to set up using either the app or the remote control. It has plenty of speed settings. It’s powerful and keeps you cool — I don’t think I’ll ever need to use the full speed.

Just got it. It’s not silent but it’s not very noisy. The version I hit flex 2 did not come with battery and that was not advertised so I spent another €60. So this is not a cheap product. It is also a low fan. Doesn’t bother me as it’s neat but any other fan I had was taller. So far I’d say 6/10. Not good value for money if I am pushed to give a verdict.
