Some of the Batteries never go full Green. May be the Battery at fault but it runs the Drill fine anyway. Always doubt whether it has charged long enough.

I ordered this charger because the charger for my Li-ion batteries died. I still had a charger for my NiCd batteries.This charger fits the NiCd, but NOT the Li-ion!UPDATE: two days later and 8 figured out to tip the Li-ion battery slightly downward at the longer end. Raising my rating to four stars because it works.

I like the multiple displays that show condition of batteries and charging status. Feels rugged.Lights that show status are confusing. "Red slow flashing" means battery is defective. "Red Flashing" means 'standby'. What's 'slow'? Even the new batteries have the same display as known defective batteries. Yet the new batteries are proven to work. So is the charger defective?

The seller ships very quickly and has great communication! This charger may not fit all craftsman batteries properly. We ordered the charger for a battery that says it fits and it had too loose of connection. There is nothing wrong with the product it just didn't work for our battery. Return was very smooth and quick also.

These Li-Ion batteries are the way to go in my opinion, as long as you get the proper Amp Hr batteries. The high torque of some electrical devices will not work properly with weaker batteries. The charger is designed for both Ni-Cad and Li-Ion and works great. It has a temperature stat to prevent cold ambient charging of Li-Ion. I haven't had these particular batteries and charger long enough to comment on battery life, but charge longevity is much better than new Ni-Cads.

So far I really like the replacement charger for my craftsman 19.2v batteries. I was able to use it to charge both styles of batteries, the ni-cad and newer lithium 19.2v .Amazon made it easy to find and compare. Overall good experience.

All those lights on the charger are for your imagination. They are painted and have no function. So far, the charger is working charging my batteries, but I feel somehow fooled by the picture. Reminds me of the gal I met at a.... Never mind.
