I mainly use spray adhesive to hold stabilizer onto fabric, I typically sew bags and pouches. I use a very light spray application because I am looking for temporary not permanent adhesion. This product has enough stickiness to make pieces stay in place where I want but flexible enough that I can get all the wrinkles smoothed out as I sew the pieces together. I prefer temporary adhesive to iron-on stabilizers which can sometimes result in a puckered look on the final product. I like that the can is big enough that I don’t fear running out mid-project, and I have two cans which will last me a long time. For my purposes this works just as well as other highly touted brands, at half the price, has so far not gummed up my needle while sewing thru multiple layers of fabric. This was a good purchase.

This is easy to use and worked very well basting the batting to my quilt fabrics. It allowed for some repositioning of the fabrics, but still held them in place while I was quilting. Make sure you protect the surface underneath your project as the overspray does cause a sticky mess. It's easy to clean up, however.

Great spray baster. Quilts are supple and there's no slippage when you quilt the layers together. I use old sheets to cover the area around the table, so cleanup is easier by just washing the sheets.
