After all I went through to mount this Lamp I am Happy With My Purchase, No Buyers Remorse. This lamp came Very Very well packaged, sealing taped up super well. Cushioned inside to perfection. Prior to purchasing I took measurements to make sure the 15.8 lamp would fit my hallway installation in the current light mount. Well After it arrived, I mock-fitted the lamp horizontally as I hoped to install it. After I put on the lamp over the mounting bracket, because the fire speaker was in the way That Idea went out the window. It would have fit if I drilled holes in the light casing which I didn't want to do. Well, Heck!!! I ended up drilling holes into the light casing to mount this vertically because it was too tall to use the factory case to support bracket holes. All in it took me 4 hours and 15 minutes of measuring drilling and measuring and drilling then mocking up to make sure it would fit vertically and square and level all the way around. I hope the Installation pictures help.

I’ve had it up for a short while, and so far, it’s performed flawlessly, with no flickering or issues. That said, it’s not without minor drawbacks. Also, while the LED is energy-efficient and long-lasting, it’s integrated, so you can’t swap out bulbs if you want a different color temperature later. First off, although this is claimed to be for outdoor use, there's nothing about the design that would keep the electrical connections from getting wet. Not only is there no weather sealing built into the fixture to prevent water from getting behind the fixture, but the light itself is built up in layers that are screwed together. There's a a thin layer of rubber cement present to keep water out between the layers. Secondly, this is made of steel. Sooner or later, it's going to rust. I highly recommend going with an aluminum exterior fixture if you want to avoid this fate. When I took it apart to inspect the inside, there's a nice big LED array, but you can tell from the design that it was originally designed to include 3 additional capacitors. There are solder pads for the capacitors, and there are markings for the capacitors, but they aren't present. In addition, the light itself doesn't do a good job of diffusing the light and spreading it out. Despite being a 24W fixture, it puts out less light than my previous wall sconce that was using a 10W LED bulb. The light output on this fixture is underwhelming at best. From an installation perspective, the wire ends aren't tinned, which means they'll easily fray. Most higher quality fixtures tin their wire leads. The installation mechanism itself is just... fine. It can be a little finicky to align the screws to the mounting plate, but it's about typical for a fixture at this price point. I wish they used a flat head screw that the mounting screws are less visible though. Overall, this light has a visually unique style, but consider it an indoor fixture, and don't expect high light output.

I was immediately drawn to the aesthetically-pleasing clean lines of this well built 15.7” (40cm) x 7” (17.8cm) x 6.5” (16.5cm) mains-powered 1,929 lumens, 3,000K ‘yellowish-warm’ temperature, 360° beam angle, IP65-rated waterproof, soft-glow LED light ( see photos of front and back ). Following the instructions ( see photo ), I DIY-installed the Light on a junction box, live the look, find that is reasonably bright. Of great concern, is that there are no CSA (nor UL, ETL etc.) certification markings to be found anywhere, indicating that the device has not been tested nor evaluated to Canadian standards ( see photo ).
