These are great. We needed a multi-plug timer for Christmas lights. These are well made and seem durable. The timer was super easy to program and works well. They have a two-part spear that is easy to assemble, screw into the base, and then insert in the ground - even with a dusting of snow today. I like the large cover that allows the cords to come out the bottom.

They work as expected. I like that it has a longer power cord than most. I would have preferred the door close from the top down vs from left to right. I find it more difficult to close than my older outdoor timers.

I just got this timer, so far I like it for my Halloween needs, next will be Christmas deco. It keeps GOOD time. The only negative is, 6 outlets all on or off at the same time. For me it's ok, but might be a concern for others. It has a pointed stick that can be short or tall stuck in the ground. It is definitely waterproof as it pouring down rain here, lol. Easy to set and easy read dial.

This past year my husband passed away, leaving me to decorate our house for Christmas by myself. The old outdoor garden timer was hard to use and was held together with tape, so I decided to replace it. I chose to purchase this timer because it had a 6 ft. cord, 6 outlets and a waterproof cover. Finally, I wanted a 24 hour timer that was simple to use and was not controlled by my iPhone. I had already gone that route and found it to hard to use. This timer was so easy to program that I didn't need any paper instructions or videos to show me how to set it up. I also found it easy to adjust, which I did several times, to get the correct on and off times. Being from the Seattle area I can attest to how well the waterproof cover works. This is my new favorite outdoor tool. If this 71+ year old lady can use this timer anyone can! I highly recommend it.

What is it about manufacturers that insist on making electrical sockets as close as possible? And other manufacturers on making plugs as large as possible? In this unit, it is all too clear. I tried to put a light transformer and an extension plug into this unit. With difficulty, I was finally able to, but those two items together took up all the space of the 6 sockets. And I had to manhandle the door to get it to close. Good point: the depth of the unit is fine and holds an extension cord's plug easily. I do believe I could have fit 3 into the unit with no problem (by alternating them). Other good points are that it has a lock and the openings for the cord exit (there are three) are each on a spring. I thought, as with most electrical units, I would have to use a vise grip to remove the tab. Not so. So I found that very nice. The tabs retract on a spring enough to allow the cord to pass through. However, one "tab" fell off and I had to man-handle the door to the unit to make it close - putting in one extension cord and one light (small transformer, I think all submersible lights have them) taxed the unit's capacity. I could not put 3 extension cords side by side. The plugs are just too large for the proximity of the sockets. Another good/bad point was the unit does have a small plastic foot pad to help drive it into the ground. The good is, it's there. The bad is, it's hardly wider than a toe. All in all I like the unit. It's just not what you'd hope for - it's what you'd expect. The door, when you can close it, does have a lock. The timer seems to keep 24 hours properly. But the cord is only 6' long (if that) and the box is .... small. I really can't speak to the weatherprooof aspect. It is sturdy plastic and I think it will be up to rain and sun, but that's just a guess. It is easy to use, the pins to set on and off time are easy to use - they come as a default in the off (raised) position. And the door is on a spring which encourages it to maintan the closed position.
