Great pickup set for the price.
I was surprised how nice these pickups are for the price. They are a little higher output than most pickups this size, with the added benefit of being hum-canceling. Tone is a little mid-heavy but not shallow or thin. I ended up wiring them with three switches, three volumes, and no tone control.

Decent sounding pickups especially for the price
This rail style humbucker set completely transformed my Strat. The neck and middle pickups deliver a clear, bright tone with just the right amount of mid and low end punch, while the bridge pickup absolutely rips with high-output crunch perfect for hard rock and metal. The ceramic magnets and dual-blade design offer excellent string balance and true hum canceling performance, even under heavy distortion. Installation was straightforward, and while the included screws didn’t quite fit my pickguard, using my own was no issue. Once installed, the tonal improvement was night and day. Clean tones sound articulate and defined, and with gain, these pickups growl with authority. The bridge pickup in particular does a great job emulating the classic Super Distortion sound tight, aggressive, and harmonically rich. If you want to upgrade your Strat without routing for full size humbuckers, this set delivers in a big way. Excellent clarity, versatility, and raw power in a compact single coil format. Highly recommend!

Please Read Before Ordering
These Musiclily Pros are nicely made pickups that are fully wax potted, and I don't doubt that they offer full-bodied humbucking sound. However, there's a big problem: they can't be mounted in a standard Strat pickguard without modifications. They fit in the pickup cutouts well enough, but the screw holes for mounting are too narrowly spaced for my WD Fender-licensed pickguard. I would have to file the holes so that they are closer to the edge of the cutout. The screw heads may or may not cover up the wider holes. I don't know if these are specifically designed for imports; perhaps a Musiclily pickguard would be just right. But I am not going to modify my pickguard for this purpose. Maybe I'll get a Musiclily pickguard and modify it if it doesn't fit these pickups as is. Musiclily dropped the ball with these. I've been quite happy with their guitar parts in the past, but am disappointed with the ST-DPHC set. More annoying still is that I have for review another set of Musiclily Strat pickups- single-coil models- that have the same mounting problem. If you're reading this and still want these pickups, you are advised to get a pickguard specifically for them and only them. UPDATE 03/10/2025: So, I broke down and bought a Musiclily pickguard- the nice black anodized one- and, predictably, found that these pickups fit perfectly. They are, however, extremely difficult to install because of the design of the pickup. Getting the springs and screws in place without one side of the pickup falling back into the cutout is challenging, because the dual coils are ever-so-slightly wider than the cutout. I got it done, though, and when I wire it up and install the assembly, I will report as to the sound, which I expect will be much different from that of a normal strat-type guitar. Please note for now that you need a Musiclily pickguard for these pickups. UPDATE 03/15/2025: I'm now happy to report that these pickups have excellent sound, and may well be my new favorite strat pickups. For that reason, I'm adding a star to my rating. Now, if Musiclily would address that pesky mounting problem, they'd really have something.

All the benefits of humbuckers in a single-coil size
The strat is arguably the most iconic guitar shape in history, and the neck pickup tone is amazing, but the bridge pickups always sound weak to me. I've got a couple of strats with full-sized humbuckers in the bridge, but this set is a great option for people who want humbucker tone while retaining the classic strat look. And, of course, they also have the not-insignificant benefit of being much quieter than single coils. Tone is subjective, but these sound great to me, and the bridge has enough output to properly drive an amp for harder distorted and metal tones. Very pleased with these.

So much fun!
This Musiclily Pro ST-DPHC set is a killer deal for anyone looking to add some versatility and serious gain to their Strat. I love that it’s wired for coil tapping, so you get the full-on humbucker output when you need it or a cleaner, classic single-coil tone with a switch. It makes experimenting with your sound super fun. Just a heads-up, the coil tap wiring does add a few extra steps, so if you’re not comfortable with a bit of electrical work, consider getting a hand with the installation. I’ve used a few pickups and accessories from this company, and they always deliver quality and great sound. These pickups easily fit in any standard single-coil Strat pickguard, and even though I’m not usually into ceramic pickups, these really hit the mark. With a fantastic price point and solid build quality, it’s a no-brainer. I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking to boost their Strat’s output and versatility.

Driving off the rails couldn’t get better than this!
Inexpensive set of rail humbuckers for and Stratocaster style of guitar that sound great. Well made with powerful pickups for neck, mid and bridge. I had to do some minor filing to fit them in but in the end they worked out great. No noise but the sound of the guitar and that is quality!

Look great, well made--installing later
Appear to be quality components and they look great. I'll be installing them at a later date and will update the review then.

Killer humbuckers in a single coils size.
These are a perfect upgrade to change the sound from your single coil pickups to a bigger, fatter Humbuckers sound. It works great because you can replace your old pickups without rerouting new holes. These sound great and are a snap to put in, long wire included. There doesn't seem to be a difference between each one, no bridge or neck pickup. But they still work very well. A big tonal improvement, a nice look too, these pickups are way cool to look at, you can choose the optional colors.

Je les ai trempés dans la cire avant de les installer sur ma Fender. C’est une bonne solution de rechange.

These sound fantastic for the price. They are all the same, so I have used them across multiple guitars. But provide their own unique character across the middle bridge and neck position. Fantastic bit of kit.
