お世話になっている義母の母の日のお祝いに買いました。 しばらくは順調に使えていたのですが、娘の髪が長くなった頃から風量が低下し、内部の温度が上がるエラーが出るようになりました（白いLEDが点滅します）。どれくらい長く使うかによるのでエラーは出たりでなかったりで、カスタマーサポートに電話してもフィルターを掃除してくださいと言われるだけで、修理扱いになりませんでした。フィルターを掃除するとしばらくでなくなるので、思っていたよりも性能が低いなあ思うぐらいでした。 保証期間が過ぎた頃、ほぼ毎日エラーが出るようになり風量も明らかに低下していました。さすがにおかしいと思い、修理に出そうとすると定額2万円超かかるようで、諦めて別の製品を買いました。まあダメ元と思い、中に埃が詰まっているだけだろうから、直せるならと思い開けてみることにしました。 そして、付け根にあるべきウレタンが最初からなかったことに気づきました（写真）。これは明らかに製造ミスです。このウレタンがないために、髪の毛が中の構造体に絡まり、そこに埃が溜まっていました。中は半分ぐらいが塞がれた状態でした。これから、風はながれるけど、十分ではなく、長時間使ううちに内部温度が上昇し、保護回路が働いてしばらく使えなくなるという現象が説明できます。 さすがにどうかと思い、サポートに電話しました（携帯からなので通話料は有料）。サポートから、最初に言われたのは自分で開封してしまったので、何もできないとのこと。さすがに、ダイソンの製造ミスなのでなんとかしてくれといい、上との相談の結果、 ・有償で修理する というふざけた回答でした。つまりダイソンの製造ミスを自分でお金を払って直さないといけないとのことで、これは譲れないとのことでした。せめて自力で直すから本来付いているべきウレタンの部品を送ってくれといっても、マニュアルにはないのでそれもダメとのこと。 つまり、この個体については、ダイソン側の明らかな製造ミスにもかかわらず、「保証期間内に開封せずに自分で製造ミスに気づいて修理を強引に依頼した場合」にのみ無償になるということです。常識では考えられない条件です。 これからわかるのは、日本のカスタマーサポートはマニュアルにないことには全く対応できないということ、保証期間すぎたり自力で開けたりすると、ダイソンの瑕疵であっても絶対に有償になることです。他の製品よりかなり高価な機器であるにも関わらず、きちんとした性能が出なかったとしても、明らかな故障でなければ何のサポートもありません。すごくがっかりしました。軽微な製造ミスというハズレ個体に限られる事例ではありますが、このようなことは二度と御免被りたいので、今後ダイソンの製品は買わないようにします。
