The prw-6600y-2cr has atomic time keeping (multiband-6). The prg-600yb-2cr does not have atomic time keeping.

Why is this watch now $100 more than it was a month ago??

The price on this watch fluctuates. I don't know why amazon does this but likely to offset revolving discounts on other products.

How do I know this watch is a genuine Protrek?

I would think that you’d be getting the watch with all the Casio paperwork and guarantee. I would doubt there’d be a way someone could supply all the Casio paperwork and packaging and enclose a counterfeit watch. I love mine. Also, you could probably call Casio and they could guarantee authenticity.
