I am a foodie and I enjoy cooking a lot. I have used hing from various brands like Ramdev, Catch and MDH.While one of them is too strong in aroma, the other one is too mild. The third needs to be pounded every time before use.When I searched for hing on Amazon, I stumbled upon Tassyam Hingwale Premium Kabuli Hing .One interesting fact I learned was that it is a secret recipe from generations which was further perfected by Lala Ramdev Ji "Hingwale" in 1940. So this is an exclusive product and my expectations built up tremendously.It is hand pounded hing.The price seemed on higher side but if the flavour and aroma that was promised are delivered I would not mind paying that much.The Hing is packed in a glass bottle and was covered in nice layers of bubble wrap packing to keep it safe from damages.The glass bottle with glass lid and a rubber seal for airtight closure looks pretty and premium.Inside the bottle hing was packed in a plastic pouch.The ingredient are hing, wheat flour and gum Arabic. Net weight is 50 grams.Now the acid test >>>I used it to make sambhar, baingan Bharata, and dals and sabji. I loved it a lot. It lends an amazing aroma and flavour to the food and I feel the quality is top notch. It is much different from the ones I have used and a lot better. There is no bitterness in taste as with some brands and the aroma is pleasant and appetising.I like to add asafoetida to most of preparations as it has great digestive and antibiotic properties .It enhances immunity also.I am fully satisfied and it's a thumbs up 👍 from me.

Best hing powder
This hing is great to use in all my curries, sambar and rasam. It is very aromatic and brings about a wonderful taste in all my cooking preparations. I am happy about its quality.It is definitely worth buying this hing. A small pinch of this hing added to buttermilk tastes awesome when you drink it.It is effective for digestion and preventing flatulence.

Broken lid
Glass lid was broken. I have replaced it with my old lid.

nothing special about this hing which is exhorbitantly expensive.Quality is like any other popular brand and does not justify such large sum

I tried this hing about 2 years ago, and since then I have been an absolute fan!! The quality and the taste is absolutely top-notch! This hing totally upgrades the deliciousness of the food . 10/10 recommend!

Strong flavour
