Good quality steel base plate BUT the fixing points were a couple of mm out. This made it a real battle to get the bolts to fit. Instructions could have been better, the bolts and fixers need to go through the Honda plastic covers not sit on them. With the misalignment of the fixers this added to fitting issue. The worse point though is there are only really 4 fixing points for the Shad topbox plate itself. The baseplate needs a lot more holes in which match the topbox plate and allow fitting of the heavier duty internals. Would not recommend, disappointed. Feels like a generic plate and not one for the Shad box.

Le système de modularité de la hauteur est top mais la serrure est très dure à manipuler, c'est cassé pied à force. La poignée qui sert à ouvrir pince la peau les premières fois, après on sait !!
