Pretty good.
It comes with a hold-down clamp, but not the one pictured. I bought a clamp with it because I wasn't sure it came with one. It came with one, but not the one pictured. It came with a plastic clamp which disappointed me at first, but it turned out to be better. It's light and nonconductive. This is the first crosscut sled I've used. I had a Dewalt jobsite saw and it's runway is too short to use a sled. It could barely cross cut a 2x4. I burned out the motor so I went and got a Sawstop CTS which has a longer runway even though it's the same size table. That's why I bought this sled. The nonconductive aspect makes the clamp better for use with the Sawstop to avoid accidental activation of the flesh-sensing feature. I'm liking the sled a lot so far. The MDF flexes if you carry it wrong. Be careful not to break it. The design seems good. Maybe I wish it could handle an inch and a half instead of just an inch. I wish it were a little cheaper. What is the t-slot for on the far side for? Is it just structural support?

Festool Modify Needed
I purchased to use on my small Festool table saw (CCS SYS 50) to cut small pieces safely. The Rockler is not designed to be used with the Festool product and will require modification in order to work. Specifically there is interference with the table bottom as the 3/4" track is designed to fit into a recessed grove. This lowers the sled too much and therefore a shim must be used to eliminate the routed recess as well as a bit more (total ~4mm) of shimming in order to have the sled move nicely across the surface. So, if you own a Festool CCS SYS 50 you will need to modify the Rockler sled in that area of the recessed grove but other than that it works as intended. I imagine if you are buying this product you have some talent to modify it as well.

Safer way to cut small parts
If you’ve bought Rockler jigs before this is similar in quality. Like all Rockler jigs it works as intended but wouldn’t hold up to long term daily use since It is mostly mdf. I usually use these for awhile and then as a template to create a more durable version.

Easy to use sled
This is a great little sled. Easy to use for small projects. I also purchased two flip stops to use for repetitive cuts.

Easy to assemble
My saw table didn’t have enough room for the stop but a small spring clamp works just as well. Otherwise it works as advertised.
