This is an excellent knife holder: well-made and durable. I especially like that you can attach it to a belt lengthwise instead of vertically - I found this to be much more comfortable, and avoids the holder digging into your waist when you sit. I have a Myerchin rigging knife, and it fits perfectly in the holder - but it wouldn't if it were even slightly bigger. For reference, the knife measures 4.5" long, 1 13/16" at its widest point, and 5/8" thick. If the knife you want to use this for is any larger than that, it likely won't fit. Hope that's helpful... The first one of these went missing, but Amazon made the processing of the replacement easy and it arrived quickly.
