I bought this on a whim because I was out of candle lighters and needed one. I didn’t know these existed until I I searched for candle lighters. I didn’t expect much but bought it anyway. This thing works perfectly to light candles! Plus, it’s just plain cool to light it up and watch people ohh and ahh over the cool factor. It seems to hold a charge well. When it does need a charge it charges quickly.

This makes candle lighting super easy and smooth and stress free. The quality and design of the lighter is very clean, I appreciate that you have to slide it on in order to extend the nodes and reveal the on switch for the lighter itself. It activates smoothly and true to its description, automatically shuts off after a few seconds of turning it on to help minimize any potential hazards. Bonus, it's rechargeable too, no corroding/old batteries to deal with, charges up quite quickly and so far it's been lasting on its initial charge for a while now (got it 3 months ago as of this review and used it about once a month since then) The arc lights candles instantly, no more fiddling with old matches from the cupboard! My son had a birthday recently and this made lighting the candles effortless and smooth, no muss no fuss. This is one of those products that makes sense to exist and I kind of can't believe it's taken me this long to look into getting a product like this. Very, very, VERY pleased with this and I highly recommend picking one up!

Great gadget. Easy operation. Works each time to light candles. Don't have to hunt for matches that won't strike anyway. Easily stored.

Awesome lighter. Does take a while for my candles to catch on fire though. I didn't use it often and it lasted 2 years. The lighter just started failing and is not longer chargeable. Battery lasted quite a while. Only recharged 4 times a year.

This electric lighter works amazing! It was already charged out the box so I could use it immediately. It’s super easy to use, small so it don’t take up a lot of room and chargers fast!

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this lighter works. The charge lasts a long time, and I really appreciate that I can use a standard USB-C phone charger to recharge it. The only minor issue is that after frequent use, the tip where the electric arc comes out can get a little dirty, causing it not to light properly, but a quick wipe with a napkin fixes it instantly. Overall, this was a great purchase much better than traditional gas lighters that you have to throw away once they run out.

This lighter sort of works, but overall it’s been a disappointment for me. I originally thought it would be more convenient than using a Zippo-style torch or a traditional long-hand candle lighter, but in practice it hasn’t really been an upgrade. Battery life isn’t great, and it takes more effort than expected to actually light a wick. You have to aim it very precisely, and it often puts the wick out before it really catches. Because of that, it ends up draining the battery faster since you’re holding it on longer trying to get things lit. It does technically work, and I can see the appeal of a USB-rechargeable lighter, but for candles especially, I think a traditional refillable long-hand lighter with a real flame is simply more reliable and easier to use. I’ll probably end up replacing this and relegating it to a drawer. If you specifically want a rechargeable option and are willing to deal with the quirks, this may be fine, but it wasn’t what I hoped it would be.

So I wanted something a little fancy for lighting my many candles and let me tell you, this rechargable lighter is GREAT. It holds a charge *forever*, and it works quite easily, plus I love the cute rose gold colour. It's exactly what I was looking for and is worth every penny. Plus I'll save a ton of money on lighters and be more environmentally friendly!

This is nice if you’re patient lol I find a lighter is much better but this is great for my teens to use.

I like the fact that I have it and would not return it, but knowing how it work I’m not sure I would buy it lol. It does the job! Battery life is good, but it takes a bit more time to get the candle and it burns the bit of the lighter even if it didn’t lit the candle

Unit gets fully charged however it does not ignite. Piece of junk not even worth The time to go to the post office to return it
