I'm one of those rarely review customers - This product saved my curls in one day! I moved from Calgary to Toronto 3 months ago and while I'm so glad to be away from Alberta politics/bad policy my hair paired with the new humidity/lake effect factors was not agreeing with the climate change. The previous desert dry air my hair was used to in Western CAD was good to go after just using the Shea Butter leave in forumula. I'm mixed Afro/Indian so my hair is grows into ringlet shapes with a bit of frizz which was always held at bay by the leave in conditioner alone. No gel needed. I was considering just cutting all my hair off if it was going to be so unmanagable. I added this to my dialy routine yesterday by fluke Step 1. Marc Anthony Shea Butter Leave In Conditioner post shower (no wash day just damp) 2. Strictly curls gel and this product alone brought my defined curl back to life after months of uncontrollable frizz that made me start to hate my hair. I feel much more confident now post shower being able to know my hair will set and not frizz within hours post treatment as it has been here - I'm going to try this entire line Strictly Curls line instead of the orange Shea Butter one since introducing this one product to set my hair in this humid environment has changed the game for me. Please never stop producing this gel - It also has no alcohol which is a huge plus for a gel for me to not have my hair be a fire hazzard

The only downside is that if you use too much, it can feel a bit heavy or slightly crunchy depending on your hair type — so you have to find the right amount. Overall, this is a great everyday curl gel, especially if you want definition + hold without that stiff “gel hair” feeling. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone with wavy to curly hair looking for something affordable and effective.
