I'm an old woodworker, have to many clamps from over the years & just like all tools things have evolved & there are better solutions to old problems, these clamps are exactly that, they will apply force to your glue ups beyond what other clamps can, they have a allen head bolt on the handle end for even more force, others don't, the question of country of manufacture means nothing at this point, it's all quality control, if you compare the big boys in clamps you soon see these come out on top. yes expensive, they must go on sale on black friday or? whatever there still worth it if you consider time effort frustration & elimination of these factors..shop time hast to be fun right?

They say you can't have enough clamps. They should really say you can't have enough really good clamps. These are really good clamps. Everything comes up square. You can tighten them harder than needed. If they were a little lighter I wouldn't mind.

Buy once cry once. These are really nice clamps. I have even found purposes for them without woodworking.
