I’m writing this review after using this mouse for more than 25 days, and I’m really impressed! I’ve given it 5 stars because: 1. Braided wire: It’s a great feature that’s hard to find in this price range (under ₹400). The cable feels durable and premium. 2. Build quality: Excellent! You can truly trust Amkette — it’s an Indian brand with a manufacturing unit in China. I’ve also used two of their wireless office mice before (those had only 1600 DPI), which is why I switched to this one. Each Amkette mouse I’ve used has had solid build quality. Unlike many budget mice, the scroll wheel on this one doesn’t wobble or feel cheap — it’s firm and smooth. 3. DPI performance: The DPI button works flawlessly without any lag, and the transitions are quick and accurate. 4. RGB lights: The multicolor breathing lights were not a priority for me, but they do add a nice touch. It’s refreshing to see a product where everything works perfectly at this price point. Overall, this mouse is totally worth the price. If you’re looking for a reliable and well-built wired mouse under ₹400, go for it without a second thought!

Great quality and look. RGB is quite bright for dark rooms, but somewhat not enough for well lit rooms. Braided cable quality could be better and slightly thicker. Mouse is quite heavy, so it is not good for hardcore gamers. Hardcore gamers can spend a little more and go for Kreo Harpy gaming mouse (it is very light, has much greater dpi range, higher polling rate, better RGB). I have bought white colour but I'd suggest go for the black one. So, pros : Good look and functions well for non-gamers or casual gamers Good value Cons : Heavy No customisation in RGB No software to configure the side buttons for normal use (browsing etc) USB connector is too long, about 4.6cm long. Can cause space problem.

The mouse feels solid and comfortable in hand for its price range. It has a good grip, and the RGB lighting looks cool on my desk setup — not too flashy, but still adds style. Many EvoFox mice (like Phantom 2 and Blaze series) come with ergonomic shapes that don’t make your wrist tired even after long sessions

The EvoFox Spectre is a solid wired gaming mouse with a lot to offer at its price point. The 3600 DPI sensor performs well for casual to moderate gaming, and the 6-button design is responsive and comfortable to use. The build feels durable, and the 1.5m braided cable adds a nice touch of quality. The 7-colour rainbow lighting with the breathing effect looks cool and adds flair to your setup. However, the one downside is that there's no option to turn the LED lights off. It would have been great to have a simple LED on/off switch for when you want a more minimal look or to reduce distractions. Overall, a good mouse with solid features—just hoping for that lighting control in future versions.

I have be using this mouse for quite a while, though this is pretty good budget mouse, after just 1.5 months of use, The wire stopped working. I have a Windows 11 system and the message was "USB device not recognized" Due to it being braided cable, I can't even see it it's really the wire. Otherwise, it's a really good budget mouse.
