I wanted a wider ironing board and this one definitely met my expectations. The size is perfect, very sturdy, and feels stable while ironing. The extra-wide top makes a big difference and the overall design is practical and easy to use. However, as shown in my close-up photos, there were some scratches and a bit of rust on the legs right out of the box. It’s not affecting the function right now, but I hope it doesn’t get worse over time. Because of that, I’m taking away one star. Otherwise, I’m happy with the board — it serves the purpose well and is a great size for everyday ironing.

I really like the new ironing board. I did order as advertised a 19x 48 but received an 18 x 48. I assumed that the 19 was a typo. I really like the iron holder attached. Very high quality material. I would recommend this ironing board.

This iron is amazing! I have had a noisy old ironing board for years that finally gave out. I looked at several ironing boards and saw a lot of mixed reviews. This one in particular had iffy reviews due to the deep creases in the cover. Mine too had deep creases, but they came out easily with my steam iron and I have not had an issue since. I like how quiet it is, easy to use, and big! I quilt and standard ironing boards are fine, but its nice to have a larger ironing space. It is not very heavy, easy to open and set up, and feels sturdy. I appreciate that it has multiple heights that you can adjust it to. I was a little worried spending nearly $100 for this ironing board, but it was worth every penny.

My old ironing board had seen better days. After 40+ years of use, it was wobbly, the center would bow when pressing, and had rusty legs. I started quilting recently and found I needed something more sturdy. Found this Bartnelli board and what a difference! It’s fairly lightweight, but very sturdy. It’s not as long as my old board due to the “iron holder” but overall, I love the extra ironing space the width provides. I can even fit my large wool mat on the top for seam pressing. It’s a bit pricey, but I don’t mind paying a bit more for this quality. If you iron a lot, this is an excellent buy.

I love this ironing board. It’s wide, ergonomic for me, my clothes fit nicely on the edge and board. I feel comfortable using it. I wouldn’t trade or change it, unless there’s a better one - but no time soon!
