Finally had the chance to sit down with this, and I’m seriously impressed. The screen looks way better than I expected-super clear and crisp, but still gives me that nostalgic vibe from my game boy days. It comes ready to go with a case, screen protector, and a ton of games, so I didn’t have to set anything up. Runs smooth, no lag, and the battery lasts long enough for me to finish a few hour games. It’s been fun for me and even the kids got into it. Great for the price and perfect for anyone who grew up with retro handhelds.

A fair warning that this is indeed a clone of the actual R36 Max. It does not come with ArkOS loaded onto it, so you would need to flash the SD card and install that yourself. It does come with a decent amount of backups on it though, but the SD card should be upgraded since it's slow to read/write.The screen on this thing is great, and nice and big. My biggest issue is that it could be a bit wider to fit my hands more comfortable. Also, the buttons feel awkward and don't click great, but that could also be upgraded.

This is a nice retro handheld game player that gives you access to so many games! It has stereo speakers and a spot for a head jack. The screen is colored and approximately 4". The unit charges by USB c and charges quickly. The run time was around 6 hours. It has a storage box included and I particularly liked the curved grips for handling. Recommended

This is a great, portable gaming unit with tons of games! This took me back a few years and let me play some of my favorite classics: Tekken, Mortal Combat, Mario, etc. I had forgotten how fun these were since I've been predominately player new console games lately. The unit is a great size to put into a cargo pocket or your backpack to take on the go. It' hard to believe so many games could be crammed into something so small. I played games for several hours without the unit needing to be recharged, so the battery life is pretty good. It actually arrived almost fully charged, so I was able to try out a lot of games from the start, without having to charge first. The screen (although small in comparison to what's out today) is actually proportional to the game unit size, so not too bad...also very clear. The product does come with a screen protector which you can apply (not sure why it didn't come with it already installed though) to keep the screen from getting scratched.I did struggle with the controls a bit at the beginning, because the product is most certainly designed for smaller hands. Not the product's fault, but for awareness. I did mare it down a star for the following reasons (although I may have done 4.5 stars if Amazon would give that option):- Included instructions are written microscopic and there are different things out there need to know depending on which games/emulations you plan on playing, so get out the magnifying glass.- Although the case and overall product are built as expected (plastic), the button tolerances and control movements feel a little cheap. Long term, you may have problems with responsiveness if this thing is played a lot.For the price and the number of games you get, this is still a really good deal especially if you still enjoy playing the games you grew up with.

Love this color!! So fun to play. Tons of nostalgia here. So many games from 80’s 90’s and early 2000’s. Buttons respond as they should. Screen is bright and crisp. Highly recommend having one of these laying around for a kick of fun or road trips!

This is a great retro handheld system with a sharp 1:1 4-inch screen that makes classic arcade games look just right. It comes preloaded with a solid selection of games and is ready to play out of the box. I take it with me often since it's easier to game on than my phone. The buttons were a bit stiff at first, but after a few hours of use, they loosened up and now feel great. No sticking or missed inputs, just solid gameplay across the board.Battery life is impressive. I’ve been able to get several hours of play without worrying about recharging. One of the things I really like is that it doesn’t have WiFi constantly running in the background, which helps stretch battery life even more. The build is solid, and the display is bright and clear.
