Liquid Death, Rootbeer Wrath, Root Beer-Flavored Sparkling Water, 12-Pack (12oz Cans), Low Calorie & No Artificial Sweeteners

At the start of the year, I decided to lessen my soda intake. One thing that helped with this goal was finding decent replacements. I like this as it has the carbonation and a light soda-like flavor that lessens cravings for actual soda. Between the flavors in this box, I like Doctor Death or Killer Cola the most. I find the value to be great.

It’s not exactly root beer—but it’s close enough that I can enjoy it without questioning my life choices afterward, which is a win. The flavor has just the right amount of sweetness to feel like a treat without being overwhelming. It’s not sugar-free, so just know that going in, but compared to regular soda, it’s a huge improvement. I can drink a couple of these and still have less sugar than one can of the usual stuff. Also, the branding is just fun—somehow grabbing a Liquid Death makes me drink more fluids, which feels like the most metal way to stay hydrated. I’ve tried most of their flavors and they’re all solid, but that Lemon Lime one and “Dr. Death” are probably my favorites. If you want something that scratches the soda itch without the sugar overload, this is definitely worth it.

The green one, IT F'S, the purple one, IT F'S, the brown one, I haven't tried yet, but I assume it will F just as hard. The blue one is a wild card. It does taste like diet cola, that was like left in a hot car for a week. Strange taste, but if you think of it as a pina colada, then its not as bad anymore. Not cola, but not bad. Overall, definitely worth it. If you like sprite, get green. If you like dr pepper, get purple. Very similar feel. Brown I have not tried, but I have high hopes. The blue one you can do without entirely in my opinion. Assuming you're buying this to cut out soda (which is likely the case)

I have been a fan of Liquid Death as a brand since I saw their first promo video in like 2017. Then around 2019/2020, I found a can at a store for the first time and even though it’s just water, it tasted better than any bottled water I’ve ever had. Maybe it was because it stayed colder longer due to being in a metal can, maybe it was just in my head or maybe it really is better. Which reason is true I don’t care and decided it was going to be my go to beverage. Then the flavors came out. Grapefruit, Lime, Watermelon, Orange and Cherry. All sooo good!!!! Then in the Spring of 2025, it all went to hell. As if the switching to the majority of the cases I was buying from 19oz cans to 12oz wasn’t bad enough, they decided to add Stevia to their drinks instead of regular sugar. The taste difference INSTANTLY hit me. I hated it. Apparently I wasn’t the only one because there was a storm brewing online with people hating all over them. I wish they would have made it into a lite or a diet version. Idk. Think of something but don’t ruin a great thing. Thankfully there is a way to tell if you find the cans out in the wild. Next to the bar code, if you see “BALL” you know it’s one of the good ones and definitely should buy it. Take a look at the pictures of the Gravefruit cans I bought. These are still available on Amazon as of January 2026 so thankfully not all hope is lost.

I LOVE this flavor so much. As someone who tries to cut back on my soda intake this satisfies that want. Smells JUST like a rootbeer, does still have a slight taste of the sparklingwater taste to it but not over powering imo. I've had the Dr Pepper flavor and that one wasn't as good I thought sadly but I'm hooked on the Rootbeer one tho. I've ordered it quite a few times but this most recent purchase the one side of the box was practically torn all the way off almost. Never had a problem before tho so hopefully just a fluke. )
