Still learning about how LOOI works best. Shame, before buying I applied the option for monthly payments, unfortunately the full amount was taken from me. Be wary of this option, it's not always working as advertised.

I like looi allot but find at the moment hes pretty difficult to use. He doesn't listen very well and have to say its name repeatedly, he often falls off surfaces so you cant leave it unattended at all. I wish it had a screen already attached, the phone idea is good but makes it hard to use practically. When looi works its brilliant and honestly I think a few updates away looi will be perfect.

Sent back. Says with Chatgpt but it's their own version and not opens so will not update alongside OpenAI Chatgpt. Creator will update their own version which Looi uses. Her is cool but to expensive for what he can do.

Buena calidad y construcción del dispositivo, solo que falta aun mucho desarrollo para la app, no incluye otro idioma que no sea inglés, a veces no se activa con su comando, la app llega a fallar,cuando estas jugando alguno de sus juegos llega a apagarse las pantalla, una desventaja es que si tienes una mesa color chocolate u obscura no puede usar sus sensores para moverse por escritorios o mesas, me hubiese gustado el poder vincular con tu cuenta de chatgpt y que recuerde todo, no puedes reiniciar o retomar alguna conversación, me parce que solo da seguimiento como a dos interacciones, pero creo q puede mejorar mucho si pudiese vincular con tu cuenta de chatgpt, es un buen juguete pero si lo note un poco limitado en cosas que puede hacer.

I have to give it at least 4 stars for the software, and the updates, but LOOI isn't as perfectly responsive to you as the ad might seem to suggest. It is an idea in it's infancy. Having said that, what a fun interactive gadget to have on the desktop! LOOI's personality and voice alone will win you over, long before you get into all his cute quirks (not twerks.. well.. not yet!) and responses. While mine was much more expensive (an earlier model) you won't regret the purchase. My only real complaint is that it ties up your phone.. but if you have two.. you're in for a fun time to share with friends and family!

I got the Loomie robot for my 10‑year‑old hoping it would give a mix of comfort, learning, and a little emotional support. It does offer some of that — Loomie is cute, friendly, and surprisingly comforting for kids who like having something interactive around. It reacts to touch, talks back in simple ways, and gives enough stimulation to spark curiosity. For basic emotional connection and early learning (ages 8–12), it’s solid. It can encourage kids to think, follow simple instructions, and stay engaged without screens. But it’s definitely limited. Loomie is not a deep‑thinking AI. It doesn’t understand complex questions, can’t move around with your kid, and doesn’t adapt to their emotions or thinking style the way more advanced AI companions can. If you’re expecting something that grows with your child or supports more complex emotional or intellectual development, Loomie isn’t there. It’s more like ABC‑123 level interaction — cute, basic, and predictable. For families who just want a simple robot buddy that talks, dances, and gives light stimulation, it’s fine. But if you’re looking to invest in something more capable, something that can actually understand deeper conversations, move with your child, or support more advanced learning, I’d wait for a more powerful model. Loomie is sweet, but good .
