Why do some of the items in the "bob ross" set have the brand dixon on them. is this a legitimate bob ross brand set or just a mix of various brands?

Items have nothing to do with Bob Ross. WATCH THE DOCUMENTARY and you will understand. If the Kowalski's are so innocent, why are people afraid of lawsuits if they speak out?

Are these made by da Vinci? I mean 150.00+ is at the max professional level of costs for this set.

I understand your question and would feel the same way but I haven't found any better brush out there other than Bob Ross' brushes. Sometimes they are cheaper but if u buy the brushes separately then you are paying 10, 15, 20, and 25 per brush. Depending on the brush itself. Its cheaper to buy in a set. Hope that helps you.
