The Caraway fry pan delivers on its biggest selling point: a non‑toxic, ceramic nonstick surface that’s free from PTFE, PFOA, PFAS and heavy metals — great if you prefer cleaner cooking with easy food release and simple cleanup. It heats evenly, works on all stovetops, and is oven safe up to 550°F, so it’s versatile from sautéing veggies to frying eggs. The design and comfort of the handle also make it pleasant for everyday use. That said, the ceramic coating isn’t immortal — many users note that it can wear down over time and requires gentle care (no metal utensils, hand wash recommended), and the exterior can stain or chip with heavy use. Price‑quality: For what it costs, this pan feels like a good value if your priority is non‑toxic, easy‑to‑use cookware with a sleek look. It isn’t the longest‑lasting nonstick overall, but it’s enjoyable and reliable for daily cooking when treated right.

Caraway makes you write a review to get a warrant, so I immediately docked them a star for that nonsense. The pan is beautiful. I'm hoping that there's a learning curve with ceramic because within minutes of receiving the package, which I liked because everything is recyclable in he packaging, I cooked a fried egg. I paid the high price for the pan because I'm trying to use PFAS-free cookware. Recently, I returned a set of 5-ply all-clad pots and pans that were beautiful, but I could not figure out how I was going to jump from cheap non-stick to stainless steel and not ruin every meal and cookware item because the learning curve was too steep. So when the caraway pan came, I fried an egg in it to test it out before the pther pot I ordered arrives. How did I do? Well, the heating was very slow, and it took the egg much longer to cook than in my cheap, toxic, scratched-up non-stick pan. Also, I don't like that caraway tells you not to use the spray version of Olive Oil. To make sure I have a nice balance of not too much, I always use a high-quality, organic, non-aerosol olive oil spray, and maybe that was the issue today-- slow to cook and runny. On the plus side, nothing stuck, easy to clean, the bump out on the handle where it's still safe to touch while cooking is nice. The pan is slightly heavy but not horrible. The color is nice. I think it might take a while to figure out the technique of ceramic cookware.

Updated review: After 1 month of use & following the instructions (do not use high heat, hand wash) the non-stick feature deteriorated quickly & now everything sticks to the pan. For the amount of money that was spent on this premium frying pan, I'm extremely disappointed. I would NOT recommend buying this pan & will not buy any products from Caraway.

Due to health reasons, I have tried to get rid of toxic non stick pans. So I researched and settled on the Caraway 10.5 in pan. I have never spent this kind of money on a pan just for eggs. I have hand washed it, used only plastic utensils and only cooked eggs in it with plenty of butter. I don't leave water in it and since it was EXPENSIVE I have been careful. BUT eggs started sticking after a couple of months. I contacted the company and the warranty seems to be limited. I have paperwork to fill out but it seems like a waste of time since I really don't want a replacement. BUYER BEWARE
