Efficient and Flexible Solar Panel for All Your Off-Grid Needs
The Renogy Flexible Solar Panel is an excellent option for anyone who needs a reliable, flexible solar panel for off-grid use. I purchased this panel for my RV, and I have been extremely impressed with its performance. The monocrystalline semi-flexible design allows it to be easily installed on uneven surfaces, and the 50 watt output is more than enough to power all of my devices. The panel is also lightweight and durable, which makes it easy to transport and use in a variety of different settings. I love that it's designed specifically for marine, RV, cabin, van, and car use, which means that it's perfectly suited to my needs. Overall, I would highly recommend the Renogy Flexible Solar Panel to anyone who needs a reliable and efficient power source for off-grid use. It's an excellent investment that will pay off in the long run.

So far, great product.
This was my first solar panel purchase so I wasn't sure what to expect. First impression was the panel is a little stiffer than expected. That was a good thing in my case since it's mounted on the cabin top of my boat where being a little stiff keeps it from flapping in the wind. After hooking it all up, controller, cables, battery, it works like a champ. Keeps my 12 volt lead acid deep cycle fully charged. I haven't had a chance yet to test it for several days on the water but I think it will do the job for replenishing the battery for the minor loads, cell phone, handheld radio, I'll need it for.

Good panel.
Not as flexible as you’d think, the eyelit rivits aren’t very high quality and have came loose over time but the panel seems to work great. Using to charge a 35ah AGM battery for powering a tongue jack on the camper. Mounted to the gas generator cover, which is rounded. Panel bows slightly due to location but otherwise secure.

Worthy purchase!
Great little flexible panel. Used Nano tape and attached to the front of my camper while in storage. Attached to the charge controller & voila, battery maintained through winter storage!

Warning, Amazon selling bulk low quality panels
Second panel I have received that is burnt and discolored around the edges. Caulk is applied messy and inconsistent. Renogy support states that Amazon buys these in bulk to sell, and that they will handle the return. I’m not going to try for a third time. Either Renogy or Amazon is selling low quality panels, I believe it to be Renogy supplying these low quality rejects to fill bulk orders. Shame on them.

Looking Great after a year under Florida Sun
I bought the Renogy panels on Aug 3 2019 for my Sailboat. After a full year under Florida sun I decided to write a review. The panels (one 160 watts and two 50 Watts) still looking great, and putting same amps as when I first installed them. Back then I was trying to figure out how to mount them on top of the bimini and found a reviewer that used snaps, so I decided to give them a try. So far a year later, the panels still there and working great. I'll recommend them to anyone looking for solar panels for a boat. They are heavier than and better quality than some other flexible panels I've seen on boats.

Doing a great job
I bought 2 of these 50W panels and one 100W panel to put on top of my travel trailer - I needed two sizes to fit the space available. I already had 2 Renogy LiFePo 100aH batteries - so thought they would be a great fit. All three PV panels together produce about 175W at peak times and are wired parallel in my 12v DC system. They more than supply my modest electrical needs of a large Dometic refrigerator, MaxxAir Fan, and various led lights and the other recharging needs.

Connector failed at 10 months
Bought this last July. Just mounted this panel back on the boat after 6 months, the connection was inconsistent and required jiggling to get voltage. I was going to put some dielectric grease inside the plug, and the plug split apart in my hand. Definitely should be able to survive the topside of a boat if it’s being billed as a marine device! I assume the plastic became brittle in this harsh New England sun…

Have been using this panel for whole of summer charging a 200ah 12v domestic battery bank on our touring motorhome. I have wired an option of linking the domestic battery bank with the vehicles cranking battery, when the vehicle is merely being stored (so, in storage, panel is providing very adequate float voltage charging to a 300ah bank). The solar panel has provided good efficient back up charging, exactly as I wanted, despite being only 50w. Panel simply attached to roof of motorhome using good quality adhesive/sealant. Being the thin flexible solar panel, rather that heavy framed versions used on our narrow boat, there has been virtually no strain placed on the the thinnish aluminium alloy roof panelling of our elderly motorhome. One criticism would be the very short leads provided - a need for purchase of required extending leads. Have used framed solar panels on our boat for years, and very pleased to have now used flexible solar panel on our motorhome. Would recommend.

I've ordered and tried a good few different solar panels now, from I've tried the top-solar, couple of chinese brands, and this was the only panel that actually got anywhere close to the quoted Watt. On a average day i got 45watts of the quote 50 watt panel. The 2 chinese brand i got about 30watts from a quoted 100watts, the top-solar was 35.

It worked great. On a sunny day I was pulling in 2.2 amps. I use this for charging my portable charger and phone and it works well! I just wish the positive cord was longer.
