Turning 65 and lots of aches and pains cropped up. Mouth and eyes became noticeably dryer, and other bodily functions-from one end to another-became more sluggish. Hair and nails more brittle and lackluster. Once past menopause, cholesterol and in particular, LDL, (the bad kind) began rising. All leaving me wishing for some sort of wayback machine or magic pill.As a Registered Nurse, I was used to doing research, especially as a Telephone Triage/Advice Nurse. So I read up on essential fatty acids, (EFA), as well as Omegas 3-6-9. Sounded like I could use Omega 3, since my diet was covering the others without need for supplementation. Sure, I enjoyed salmon but wanting to remove the guesswork, decided to give a top quality, highly concentrated Omega 3 fish oil a try.This product was highly purified, relieving my fears of mercury and other ocean pollutant/contaminants. The ratio of EFA to fish oil was high, and the combination of EPA, DHA and DPA were acknowledged to help with most of the bodily issues my newly senior self was now facing. I decided to start with a single capsule, increasing this to 1 twice a day if tolerable. My first stumbling block would be determining if such a large gel cap was doable.In the past I had suffered acid reflux, or GERD, 2 to 4 times per day. Spot treatment with chewable antacids was just that, spotty. As a result there was some esophageal stricture, (think: scar tissue), and some problems swallowing in general. Happy to report that no difficulty downing these capsules, which seem to slide down just fine. Enclosed is a photo comparing this 15/16" long x 3/16" wide product to Advil liquid-gels as well as U.S. quarter for reference.A Nurse's tip to help swallow capsules? Put it on the tongue, take a good sip of water or other liquid, then tilt your head down rather than back. Since the capsule is lighter than the liquid, it will readily float to the back of your throat and then can most easily be swallowed. Works like a charm, even with my medical history.As for results? I now very rarely need re-wetting eye drops or special mouthwash. My skin/hair/nails are likewise more supple, less dried out and brittle. Still have morning stiffness, but less aches and pains overall. Triglycerides holding at 99 and Cholesterol at 190. LDL still needs some work, but the 'good' HDL is higher, and the overall ratio, and heart attack risk is now less than 50% of average, a measurable plus!I won't go as far as to say this is any kind of magic pill, but I doing rather well at Words With Friends lately and do feel this is a positive addition to my nutritional arsenal. Especially since the Lipid Panel results were solely based on taking a single daily capsule, rather than a half dozen red Krill minis...imagine even better results if I take 1 twice a day. And Hallelujah, absolutely zero fishy burps!

I like these capsules, it's just that I like another brand that my doctor suggested better. Still, this is a good product that I would highly recommend and might buy again. The price is good for the quality product they offer. Fish oil has worked wonders with, of all things, my fingernails even though it was recommended for my eyes.

I've done a lot of research on omega 3 tablets, and these seem one of the best, if not the best on the market. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I have been taking these for a couple of years now and in my most recent blood tests my doctor has told me that these are definitely having a positive effect on my overall health.

I have a rheumatoid disorder and was told fish oil, among many other benefits, is great for joints as well as eye, nose, mouth and skin moisture. Take it faithfully for at least 3 months and you'll notice the difference. My local pharmacist tells me this brand of fish oil is the "best bang for the buck." Quality. (You get what you pay for, and that is certainly true in this case.)

its great! actually has high amount of EPA & DHA no false advertisement. the only reason im giving it a three star is becuase it gives me gas and i get super bloated for like an hour or two. maybe i have a sensitive stomach ill try eating it with different foods to see if that helps.

I love this product! It has a high amount of DHA (which I was looking for) at an affordable price. I have tried several brands of Omega-3s only to experience heartburn, regurgitation, and "burps." This is the first brand that I have tried that has given me ZERO issues.
