This chair is perfect and works great for my mom. She has a small bathroom and it doesn't take up any floor space. It is very easy for her to operate on her own. Very well made.

Easy to assemble. Slides and swivels easily. It does have a tendency to catch underneath. I had to trim with a dremel. It works better now. It is much safer to get in and out of the tub with this now.

Got this for my mom, the item is designed poorly. Everything seems like it will work until you put any weight on the seat. When weight is put on the seat it no longer slides properly and cannot lock into place. There is a part of the seat that catches on the part of the bars that attaches to the tub wall and will not slide completely to the edge to lock into place. Very disappointing, and I missed the return window so I’m stuck with a seat that doesn’t work.

With the caveat that time will tell how well it holds up (it is sturdy) or easy to clean, I’m giving it 5 stars for easy assembly, easy to install in the tub & remove (for cleaning the tub), and easy to use. Purchased for my 90 yr old mother who is quite mobile on her feet but after slipping in her tub stopped taking showers. With the purchase of a non-slip tub mat, this chair, & non-slip rug next to the tub, she’s back in biz, very happy to be taking showers again. She leaves the chair in the tub facing forward cuz said she can get her legs over the tub edge fine. I tested the swivel seat which works smoothly, unlocks easily & snaps into place on its own, then with a tap of another lever slides easily into the tub. Kind of a fun ride :-) After reading reviews of other types w/legs both in & out of the tub being too unstable & take up too much space in a tiny bathroom, I opted for this version that attaches to the tub side w/a sleeve & clamp. All seems well-made & easy to use. Make sure you check your measurements! My mom’s tub measurements were the smallest size stated for this to fit into. And even though pricey, feel it’s worth it to have solved the problem & make mom happy (not easy to do).
