GPU用に購入しました。CPUと違って分解に手間がかかるし、GPUはCPUより高温になりがちなのでCPU用のサーマルだとすぐに寿命になると聞いたので、ちょっと高いけど交換不要で効果抜群ってことで有名なPTM7950にしてみました。 その噂はだてではありませんでした。144fpsをターゲットにしている軽めのゲームだと10℃、60fpsをターゲットにする重めのAAAゲームでも数℃は落ちました。満足です。

Easy to work with and simple to apply but did nothing for the temps in my eight year old machine. I can say it works as well as eight year old thermal paste at least.

If you’re rocking an AMD 3DX CPU, the PTM7950 thermal pad is an absolute game-changer. Unlike regular thermal paste that you have to keep reapplying, this pad is a phase-changing material—meaning it starts off solid for easy installation and then softens as your CPU heats up, perfectly filling all the tiny gaps between your CPU and cooler for maximum heat transfer. This means you won’t need to replace it like you would with regular paste. Here’s a pro tip: pop the PTM7950 in the freezer for about an hour before applying. It firms up the pad, making it way easier to handle and position without the usual sticky mess. Just clean your CPU and heatsink surfaces, cut the pad to size if needed, place it carefully on the CPU, then mount your cooler with even pressure. After a few good gaming sessions or running Cinebench, you’ll see your temperatures drop to a nice, regular range. Trust me, your PC will thank you with smoother performance and better stability. This pad keeps your rig cool for the long haul without the hassle of frequent maintenance. Highly recommend for anyone wanting reliable, long-lasting cooling with minimal fuss!

This stuff works great on my 4080 Super No more paste pump out after a few weeks Would only recommend direct die contact like GPU’s and APU’s in handheld devices Not gonna work the best on CPU’s that still have IHS’s
