Harpslinger: 1988 - Album Remastered

Cary Bell is a true Harpslinger. Excellent harmonica solos and hot bass lines. Cary is a true Bluesman. "What my Mama Told Me" is one of my all time favorites. Listen to him wail with some excellent bass playing on" 85%." Great to hear some of that die hard old time blues.

Excellent sound quality and song selection, Carey is at his best here. A lot of heavy harp playing, his voice is very strong also. He has a great way of putting his songs together. His writing skills are second to none, he must have a natural talent for this. Over the years he just keeps writing good quality stuff, it seems a lot of writers lose this talent in time. Not a bad song on this one, very strong.
