Smooth and Creamy Pyrrhic Victory in a Delicious Chocolate Shell
My favorite brand of chocolates. I can (and have) spent hours in Lindt stores, making bad-albeit-satisfying food choices. The ability to get these online without sacrificing freshness or quality has been mostly a blessing. On one hand, it is no longer necessary for me to drive to a store to graze the expansive selection therein. On the other hand is the Pyrrhic ability to have these shipped directly to my greedy and gaping maw with next to no effort. And repeat. Just lovely!

Amazons’s perfect—orksel’s awful
We ordered these Linder chocolates again because the ones in the box of 60 from Amazon were perfect. Obviously dark chocolate, perfectly round, and delicious. Plus, they came in a lindor box like in the picture on line, delivered to our house address as ordered. This, our last order, sold by orksell. It was very late. Packed much less professionally, much less insulation, smaller cold packs for twice as many chocolates, in a cardboard box, not a lindor box. It apparently was shipped by usps, not ups. We were told it was delivered at 2:27am today, and to pick it up at usps. Not our delivery address. The chocolates were very deformed and either discolored or lighter chocolate, with a chalky surface. The wrapper looks authentic, maybe it is. What an embarrassment if sent as a gift. I would not buy from this orksell again. I would buy from Amazon again. Amazon might want to review orksell’s operation. I use Amazon quite a bit, so it won’t affect my positive impression of them. But if I did not, it could.

Melted Chocolates
Lindt chocolates melted slightly. As they are individually wrapped, I should be able to use them after refrigeration. The Truffettes De France arrived fine, albeit a little soft.
