If you pay attention to the reviews its exactly as described by others. Most of the pictures I saw in the reviews looked better than what I recived. Plants have almost no root system let alone a healthy one. Purchased a small batch to test the water and not only is it not as described its not even the plant advertised with no care to even remove completely rotted leaves. If a 5 or 6 year old was growing and clipping aquatic plants I'm sure they would be nicer! Be aware of plant contamination of plants you don't want. What you paid for will be dead or die but you will have duckweed until you rip apart your whole tank to clean out plants you did not pay for or want! Very expensive even if what was recived lived.

Ok so what you get is nothing like picture. You get individual leaves that look more like duckweed and I am about 90% sure the majority that had to be trashed was duck weed. The seller sends a nice little insert that talks about plant melting. Well these plants were not melting most of them were dead. The majority of them were broken or torn leaves. They came in a cup well packaged but the plant it's self looked like someone reached into a tank of water where they were growing grabbed a hand full and squeezed them really hard like a sponge. Most of the leaves look like they were muddled like mint. The cup it's self that contained the plants were bone dry. In the end I ended up with about 5 viable leaves that had a tiny root like duck weed and on with a decent root on it. And that is it. The leaves were not melting like the insert mentioned may happen and it does happen from time to time but that was not the case with these they were not properly harvested or packaged. Go outside to a clover patch and take your hang grab a handful and then twist them until they break off. You will get an idea of how these looked. I have been growing aquatic plants and aqua scaping for 30 years and never have I had someone pass off plants in such horrible condition as possibly melting I know the difference between melting and rot and while the leaves were not rotted they were not viable at all. I am not going to bother with a refund because I did not take pictures of them in the container but the attached photo are what I managed to save out of the container. Now this could just be a one off thing maybe an employee did not do their job properly who knows but as it stands I can not recommend these plants nor seller to anyone.

I purchased these in March. They came in a plastic cup, similar to other customer reports. Some of the leaves did not look intact, others looked fine. There were no red roots on arrival. I put them in my aquarium and about two months later, they were reproducing like crazy AND began developing red roots. They reproduced so quickly that I had to start trimming them or throwing some out completely. This order did not disappoint.

Got more than expected, all healthy little groups. My surface agitation is a lot (and I read they don't like too much movement) so I removed them from the aquarium itself and placed it in the breeder box (same aquarium but the flow is greatly restricted). They started thriving much better and spreading across the surface! My guppy and molly fry love hiding in their roots! They are also green and reddish now, love them! Oh, I didn't get any 'bonus' snails ....... VERY pleased!

First of all, it’s a floating rooted plant. It came in with no roots and the leaves were all falling apart, and it had duckweed in it. I hate duckweed duck duck weed, and now my tank has duck weed in it and the plant that I wanted is basically just rotting I would return it, except for there’s nothing to return as the plant itself is practically dead and has no route so it’s not going to come back and I had to spend the last 20 minutes scooping duck weed out of my tank, which is very hard to do when you have guppy babies, but I guess it’s my fault for not looking at the plant first to make sure it didn’t have duck weed in it such a waste of money
