Seemed to an improvement on our previous pyramid style kettle but despite providing a better indicator of being switched on (on the flip switch button) it dropped off with respect to a slower boil rate, higher minimum water level required, no cavitation reduction plate, and a smaller spout which hinders quick refilling ( I can’t imagine removing the lid every time to refill ). However, worse of all was when I filled a hot water bottle and found scolding water dripping out from the handle joint onto my hand holding the hot water bottle when emptying the kettle! I have since installed a silicone washer to prevent this happening. But the kettle does at least look good!

Lovely kettle, the colour is so nice.

A lovely looking design but the tapered shape gave a smaller diameter to fill with water and this created a water spill down the sides of the kettle and onto the base,also yr hand has to be at the back of the kettle handle when pouring as the hot steam burns yr hand 😳 🔥.
