ASICS Mens Gel-Nimbus 27

Before I purchased these shoes, running 1 mile was was unbearable pain for my feet (30's, never exercised and fat), but I want to join the Army... but I couldn't even walk in my 25 bucks Nike's after the pain from running.These shoes helped me run over 2 miles (with steep hills added!) with no major pain and I walked about an additional 4 miles too! Did I have minor pain?These shoes have incredible pain relief and a easy to use structure thanks to good tongue, laces and heal strap.Size was accurate too. I wasn't going to get the wide, but Amazon recommended I get the wide, so I did and it is a perfect fit.

These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn! This is my first ever pair of running shoes and they are a game changer, even if you're not a runner they are great for walking or even just standing a lot. The price is a bit high but I can see these lasting a long time. I didn't order the Wide fit, but even still they have a wider toe box than any of my other shoes. I do wish they had a better color variety but I like what I got. The biggest downside is they might look a little "goofy" for how big the soles are but you get used to it. Love these shoes!

Important for Runners!!!I fractured both of my heels in a ladder accident 9 months ago. Prior to my injury, I was a consistent runner. However after a month in a wheel chair and many more months of recovery, it was a slow process to put any significant weight and pressure on my feet.For many years I have been running on Nike Pegasus. However with my recent injury I needed a shoe with better cushion. I tried several different shoes and I can attest from my own experience that these new shoes have been great to get me back on the road running again.

I really enjoy these ASICS, they are extremely comfortable! I they fit true to size. By far the most comfortable pair of shoes that I have owned, literally feels like you’re waking on a cloud. The mesh allows your feet to breathe while still having some protection. They seem pretty durable so far. These ASICS come in a variety of stylish colors. Now they are a bit expensive but are definitely worth every penny.

I have increased my running distance and needed a higher quality, more forgiving runner for my runs. The uppers are very light and COOL which is huge! Soles are soft enough to cushion my landings but firm enough for me to feel supported without fear of rolling my ankle.I came from running in Brooks and I'm really happy with the fit and feel of these Asics.

I've tried several brands...Asics have the most cushioned comfortable WOMENS OR MENS MADE SAME...***Sneaker has like a horseshoe in forefoot that makes you lean backwards*** I understand WHY FOR RUNNING........I'VE BOUGHT 3PAIRS IN WOMENS AND NOW THIS PAIR IN BRIGHT BLUE LOVE THEM.......I FIGURED OUT HOW TO STOP LEANING BACK I PUT A PAIR OF DR SHOOLS CUT OFF TOE PART AND INSERTED UNDER INSERT.......I REALLY WISH YOU WOULD MAKE THESE SNEAKERS HIGHER HEELS WITHOUT HORSESHOE IN FORFOOT FOR ****WALKING/STANDING/ELDERLY******I LOVE THE BRIGHT BLUE THANK YOU 😉

I had been suffering from foot pain for many years. The outsides of my feet would get extremely tender after walking short distances. I went to a podiatrist, and he recommended starting with news shoes and suggested a few brands (ASICS weren't among them). Went to a local shoe store called "Fleet Feet" and they have a machine that measures your feet and your gait. I discovered I suffer from extreme supination (or under-pronation). When you have this your weight shifts to the outer edges of your feet while walking or running, and can lead to issues like ankle instability, pain, or even injuries if not addressed properly. The tech at Fleet Feet had me try the brands my Doc suggested, but she recommended these... and OMG it was like walking on a cloud - I felt immediate relief for the first time in years. I immediately bought the pair at the store and after 3 days ordered 2 more from Amazon - one to be my "indoor shoes" and one for my work shoes (in all black). It's been 2 weeks now, and my feet have never felt better. It turns out of was previously wearing "stability shoes" which were actually increasing my supination.Obviously, everyone's feet are different, so your milage my vary - but it's critical to make sure you are wearing the right size (I was one size too small) and the right width (I was always told I needed wide shoes, but my feet are actually narrow). Definitely try and go somewhere like Fleet Feet to get properly measured - but these might just make the difference for you too.

I bought these because I liked my last Nimbus gel model so much. In fact, this would be my 3rd pair of Gel Nimbus from Asics (all different year models). Something bad happened here. They put a huge amount of padding just under the ball of the foot that throws your toes into the upper and end of the shoe which causes unreal pain. They felt good going on, so I went walking in them and my feet were on fire for two days. I tried breaking them in even more slowly but each time I wear them for any amount of time it is painful afterwards. Now, I've worn them too much to return and wasted the money. If you're buying based upon past models, be careful.
