Stylish kettle
I was using it for a while now and the quality is still good. Boils water quickly, making it easier to make a drink. The light shows up blue once you start turning it on, and turns off once the boiling is done. Filter is easy to clean. It looks stylish and fit for a modern kitchen.

An aesthetically pleasing kettle at a sensible price.
Only had it for a few days, but I love the looks and the weight, which is lighter than my previous Smeg. It boils quite fast, and it is reasonably quiet, which are ALL plus marks in my book. It pours easily, and the lid lifts off completely, which are again sensible features. I've owned 3 x Smeg kettles, and they are absolutely NOT worth the current retail price. None of them lasted past two years, and all suffered the same switch problem. It's just not acceptable. That is why I decided to look at another brand. There are a few Smeg lookalikes out there and plenty to rival them in looks and features - never mind the price!! IMHO, no kettle should cost more than an air-fryer, which is far more technical! I settled on Russell Hobbs, and even if I only got a year out of this kettle, it would still be a massive saving over Smeg - in my book, that's a no-brainer. It does everything it says it does. It was a great price, and delivery was quick as well.

Good if reasonably short-lived in comparison to my other kettles
Bought May 2023 - died Jan 2026 (literally just stopped working, the light on the back is still on). Other than that, it has a nice look, it boiled very quickly, not too loud, generous for water, and no problems. Still looks new-ish, to the extent I had to check when I bought it

Good value, makes gd toast, looks good but can show finger marks on metal part as most metal does, wipes off easily

Looks good and boils quickly
Love my new kettle. Looks so good and shiny too. Boils quickly and I can just fill it for 1 cup as there is a measure inside. Good value

Weird toast side bias
As an FYI. It is specified in the listing that 'Note :The toaster will not latch if you press the right hand lever first'. This means that you MUST use the LHS toasting slot pair first/always. The RHS pair can ONLY ever be used in addition to, and not ever instead of. This means the usage will always be on the LHS slots first and then the RHS slots 2nd. Perverse operation decision imho as this forced the wear on the LHS slots the most. Drop 1 star for this oddity. That quirk aside it's great value for the money and also looks very smart.

Ordered as a replacement for our 4.5yr R&H of this exact model which served us well. Got the same one even though we live in Australia and this is the UK version, everything is practically the same including voltage. Arrived quicker than expected.

I had to go and buy an adaptor to make it work. The English plug does not work in Australia.
