All the way through his junior year of high school where he carried ALL of his books and papers and things, every single day! This is one tough bag! Not to mention, over the last 4 years he became known around school for "the dinosaur"! Everyone that sees it loves it, and we love the fact that no one else has a bag like his! As his senior year approached we decided he'd need a new bag for school (the old one, while still intact, has definitely taken a beating), of course there was no question what kind he'd be choosing. This time around he got the black gator luxe full size bag and it is AWESOME!! It's a gorgeous shade of inky black, with just the right amount of shine (not too shiny at all, which I wondered about based on the pictures). It has plenty of space inside to hold books and papers and even a laptop/iPad. I fully anticipate it being just as sturdy as its predecessor. At the time of purchase, the price of the bag was exactly the same as on the manufacturers website, but on desertcart we get free shipping saving us more than ten bucks! 100% happy with this purchase and looking forward to this school year with "the dragon" (so named for its striking similarity to Toothless) ;)

This is the second one I have bought . I really like the older version it's more grey and black instead of the shiny white. Very well made my first lasted 6 years and then the zipper broke with very heavy use.
