Others say that the bed doesn't come with the right amount of screws, but for me it came for way more than needed. I'm about 5'7 and I have to crouch to use the desk so beware if you're tall and planning to buy this. The entire frame itself is quite tall and holds the bed well. I'm 135 pounds and it doesn't feel unstable at all. The only issue is that if you don't secure it to the wall it begins to shake a lot and that the little drawers that they give you aren't actual wood, it's fabric with wood print on it. There is a lot of space underneath. You can totally build this entire thing by yourself in about four hours without any breaks in between. They give you all the materials needed and the instructions are very well laid out. Some parts might be missed if you aren't looking closely. DO NOT get a thick mattress with this. The frame itself it already very high in about a 7-9 foot tall room, getting a thick mattress will make you sleep very close to the ceiling. The screws that come to install the outlet securely are very small and didn't fit into the hole. I'd recommend getting this for a medium-large size room, not a small one unless you want it to feel cramped.

its a cool set up, i really like the concept and it helped creating more space for my small studio apartment. the only thing I disliked about this Loft bed is the fact that the packaging of the screws make it hard to distinguish which screw is which. many of them look similar even though they are not. I also wish extra screws were included. im sure I used the wrong screws for many of the steps but since the packaging made it nearly impossible to know which screw is which and the booklet made every single screw look exactly the same. the booklet was very helpful though. since I wasnt able to screw everything completely it makes a lot of noise, luckily its been stable since I first set it up. it took me approximately 3-5 days to finish the setup but that was mainly because of my small studio apartment making it almost impossible to build haha so I was soooo freaking relieved once it was built and was able to finally sleep on a bed and clean up the entire mess.

Wow! Great purchase and the product description is exactly 100% as stated. It is a little more time consuming to put together depending on the ladder placement, so I would recommend two people to assemble. Overall a great college bed for a young kid or young adult for space saving.

Absolutely love this bed for my 8 year old. I know due to the hight of it he won't have many years left in it. Our ceiling is only 8 foot, and the bed is only maybe two feet from the ceiling. But for younger kids or those with higher ceilings its amazing. The ladder is a little bit of a squeeze for an adult,especially a mama with hips. It does shake a little as you climb the stairs,but my husband and I have both climbed up in the bed, and it did not tip. We have attached a lego set to the top of the desk,We have his tv and his gaming system,all on top of the desk with room to spare. We use the 5 cubby hole system that it has to store his books. His legos and some of his other games. We do not use it as a dresser. We definitely spent a little more to be able to use the peg boards as you have to buy peg board attachments to customize it to your needs. We bought black lights that are magnetic. I bought a surge protector and mounted it under his desk as the few outlets it comes with was not enough for our needs. My son and everyone who has seen his room now want it.

Should have been a sign when the First one got lost at a FedEx warehouse and never showed up. They refunded me my money and I ordered another one. My 13 year old daughter and I put this together ourselves. The instructions were very easy to understand. It seemed to be a good value for the money. It has a lot of shelving. My main issue was the screws came in all mixed up so we had to play the guessing game on which screws were which and they were very similar. At first it was very stable, it even came with hardware to secure the bed to the wall to make it more secure. It gives my daughter a lot more room in her bedroom. However, The ladder is a little narrow for older kids, but the steps are thicker and nicer than most bunk beds. However after just a week or so of use the screws started working themselves loose and I found myself making trips to the hardware store to buy replacement hardware to attempt to make the bed safe again. The slats keep falling out of thr bottom of the bed and the mattress keeps falling through the bottom and it makes the bed very dangerous. When I contacted the company about this they offered me $30 of the $260.xx I spent on the bed. I cannot replace the death trap with even a remotely decent bed with $30. This company is a joke. My daughter is now sleeping on the couch. I have officially filed a complaint with Amazon.

A little wobbly but its good so far! Took a while to set up but the desk is nice even with not much space and the drawers are nice.

Great bed! Easy to put together, just don't have your kid help you. They seem to slow you down. Bed is super stable and sturdy, especially for a cheap bed. Great bed for a great price, fits the 11 year old well and is comfortable. If you are concerned with stability they include wall anchors in the kit.

Very easy to assemble and sturdy when attached to the wall appropriately. The product was also packaged nicely to prevent shipping damage.
