I tried the "As Seen on TV" screens three times (twice, then one was a gift). They lose irreplaceable magnets, often do not close all of the way, and the material unravels badly. The doors all tended to come down partially and had to be reattached. All of this happens early on. They were a pain to put up, too. Having said that, this door was totally the opposite. I love that it is white to match my balcony frame. It was super easy to put up and it will definitely not come down once up until you take it down. The material is sturdy and it is very well constructed. The magnets are stitched in so they cannot fall off nor leave gaps in the opening. I have had this up for about 4 months with no problems in any way. I use the door a lot and I have a big, healthy male cat. He uses the door often. I will definitely continue to buy this door if it should ever wear out. I do not think that will be any time soon. It is well worth the price!

We bought two of these screens for both of our back doors. We wanted something that kids and dogs could easily go in and out of when we leave the doors open without having to worry about closing a screen door behind them, but still keeping flies out of the house. This does that job. The installation was easy, it feels very sturdy, not like it's going to come off the door, and the magnets work very well. It always closes behind you when you walk through. And our 12 year old poodle learned how to go in and out of it quickly without difficulty. It's very functional and well made, especially for the price. It's just not exactly elegant or fancy looking, but I can't honestly say I expected anything different. Photos attached to show - it looks a little trashy from the exterior. From the interior, it looks okay (still not amazing), and doesn't block the view too much - you can see only a slight difference in the light from the two windows on either side vs. the door with the screen.

This screen installs easily and quickly. The material is sturdy and the velcro strips are heavier and more durable than others I've bought in the past. The magnets work exactly as described and they are spaced to ensure the screen stays closed with no gaps. My only issue is the length - it's longer than the door and not easily adjusted or shortened. The screen hangs below the door sill and sometimes that bottom area holds closed when you try to go in or out so there is the potential for tripping. Otherwise a great product that works very well. The best I've tried to date.

I am very happy with this purchase. As the weather is getting cooler I love leaving the door and windows open to let the fresh air in! I live in an apartment and this is perfect. Installed by myself in just minutes. Fit perfectly and easy to install. Good magnetic pull keeps it closed together keeping the bugs out but allows the fresh air through. Attractive as well. Very pleased with product and good value.

Update 09/24/16:I've had the screen for three months and it's unfortunately toast. If you have dogs that scratch at the door when outside, it won't last long. I let the pups outside when I come home and let them do their business while I get their dinners ready. One is always ready to come in sooner and sometimes jumps at the door. She made a hole in the screen about a month ago and finally managed to finish off the hole a few days ago. I will, however, be buying another screen because it's such a wonderful product to have.After three months of use, I do have some recommendations that would make for a better product.- I see this is still being listed as 34", but the product I received was for a 36" door. I specifically need a 34" screen, so this part is unfortunate and annoying to have to MacGyver.- The velcro backing could be a bit stronger. I assume that's to prevent damage to the paint, but it does peel away from the door frame at times, especially at the top. The tacks were extremely useful and necessary for this.- The hem needs weights - at least in the corners. Or something to prevent the magnet from attaching to a door. As you may see in my most recent picture, I added a command strip to the corner that came in contact with my back door. Before adding that, the screen ALWAYS stuck to the door when the dogs ran in. It still stuck sometimes if they ran through super fast and an upper magnet hit the door; but in most cases, that did the trick.- The screen became moldy in the center hems. Not sure if a different material would be possible that could prevent that.Original review 06/24/16:This is the second product I've purchased online that has qualified as a true life-changer (and I don't even remember what the first one was). My foster dog loves loves LOVES to be outside; but being a white dog with white skin missing a lot of her hair due to a skin infection she endured, she can't just be left outside in the sun for long periods of time. So I was playing the in and out game with her, or just leaving the door open for all the flies (and I mean ALL the flies) to come in the house so she could come and go as she pleased. Then I remembered seeing one of these a long time ago, and actually kind of laughing at the idea at the time. I had no idea...The only problem, and because I love it so much I'm not even knocking a star, is this said it fit up to 34". My door frame is only 34", with the inside measuring 32", so that would have been perfect. Most of these screens, however, measure 36". When I received this screen, it was in fact 36", and even said so on the packaging. That was a bummer, but I was able to make it work. I did have to use the thumbtacks included to do so. Putting it up by myself was a bit of a task, but I got it done. I recommend a second person if you have someone available that can help. I didn't want to wait.One major point I love about this particular screen is it comes in white. SO many of them only offer black and they stick out like a sore thumb. I will have to get a picture in the daylight, but the white on my white door and grey siding is hardly noticeable. It doesn't look bad at all.The dogs. This was comical to say the least. The three-legged boxer who thinks she owns the place immediately caught on to the fact that I was putting a treat through the two panels, and if she went through, she'd get one. One dog down, two to go. The foster just did not get it even after numerous attempts. The little guy, well he figured he'd just follow anyone through that was already going. Ha! By the next morning, however, all pups were running through with no problem.The magnets come together perfectly, the dogs aren't phased by it at all now, and my foster just loves being able to go out and soak up some rays, or even just run a squirrel out of the yard.

This may sound strange but whatever this company used to coat the screen actually attracts dozens of flies for two days in a row so far. Not only attracting them, but flying bug spray doesn't keep them away. At the first opportunity, they return to hang on the screen.The instructions are in pidgin English so I recommend that new buyers locate installation videos online & use their guidelines.And, the company that rolls up the velcro is sloppy. The backing tears at all the creases in the rolled-up velcro strips. Because the backing is too thin, it takes forever to peel off the backing & longer when the backing tears at all the creases.The quality of the screen is very good.
