The ring dropped out at the top. Can be easily reclamped tight. Love that it's brass. I have a thing for whistles :) handy on your keyring for possible emergency situations .

If you need a brass whistle then this wont disappoint. It is quite small however perfect for my model steam engine.

This whistle works very well. It's very loud. I like that it can be used as a necklace or be placed on a keychain. Great quality and you cannot beat the price! It has a good weight to it but isn't so heavy that it's annoying to carry around. It works very well in *icy* conditions.
