Great product at a great price, and installation is not too bad for a DIYer!
Received this a few days ago. I live in an old mobile home, and, the walls are super thin, the insulation is virtually non-existent, gaps around all the windows, etc. We currently have three window a/c units in a less than 1000 sq. ft. trailer. The furnace was stolen before we bought it, and was not easy to replace. We figured out a work-around, and it has sufficed, but, the duct work throughout is damaged or collapsed in many places, and is not easy to access. Our power bill has been extremely high due to these circumstances. So, we started looking into the mini-splits. They were much more expensive just a few years ago. We thought we would start with one in our kitchen/living room area to see how well it worked. My husband just finished installing it yesterday, the only holdup being a part we needed to order that was compatible with the mini-split and the vacuum pump that is needed to evacuate the lines once installed. Installation was fairly straightforward, and my husband was able to do it himself. Once he was finished, we turned it in to test the system, and the difference was immediately noticeable. The unit is so quiet, and it cooled those two large rooms very quickly when the outside temperature was about 85 degrees, and I had all the curtains open, plus grandkids running in and out the door. We are definitely going to purchase another unit for the back of the trailer, and are really looking forward to seeing the savings on our energy bill. So far, extremely happy with this unit.

Very efficient and easy to install. Buy Nylog!
This unit works really well even on some really hot days in the 100's. The ECO mode works great for maintaining the temperature after the room has been cooled, so far it hasn't been particularly expensive to run, I use it in my bedroom at night so I can't speak for the effectiveness in a large room, but for a bedroom this the cheapest and most efficient way to keep the room comfortable in the summer. I haven't tried out the heater yet, but that'll be in an update in the future. The unit is very quiet, you can barely tell it's on, the mute setting is probably not the most efficient setting but it does keep the room around 3 degrees of the set temperature late at night and it doesn't make the room drafty. The only qualm with this unit is the blower doesn't shut off after the set temperature is reached and it sometimes gets a lot colder than the set temperature, I had it set to 65 and it got down to 51 one night, I don't know why that happened, but on the ECO mode it seems to stay within the set temperature range until I turn it off. The app works great and is very easy to use, there's a setting to purify the air and it seems to work, although there's some debate on the potential dangers of being in an enclosed room while it's set, due to some ozone being produced. There's also some timer settings and a sleep mode that allows for the temperature to be gradually changed throughout the night until it turns off. The unit was very easy to install, the hardest part is making a hole in the wall and bending the lines, everything is very basic. You will need some extra things to install it. I bought a whip to run power to the main unit directly from the breaker box and a pull out disconnect. I used a vacuum pump to vacuum out the lines and check for leaks, I used Nylog on the fittings, I highly recommend it, I had no leaks whatsoever, overall it's very easy to install and can be done in 2-3 hours depending on what your walls are made of and the distance you have to run the lines.

No charged with refrigerant!
It did not come charged with refrigerant. After paying HVAC 700 dollars to install now we have to wait an additional two weeks to get the R34 to charge it. The heat is killing us as we both have lung issues. We bought the newer one thinking it would be as good as the older model but it is not. The older ones came already charged. Same brand same company. I am highly disappointed. I didn’t even want to give one star. Just got off phone with Amazon and they are sending a replacement. Awesome customer service.

Worth the money and cools great. Dont let only a few reviews stop you from buying
I have installed and used a ton of minisplits and brands. I have always bought name brand “pioneer, mitsubishi” always looms for the name brand compressors and all that. So I saw this onsale for prime days and ordered 2 to try out for $400 couldnt go wrong. So after seeing only a few reviews i was skeptical but to be-honest Im surprised. 1. The components and lines it comes with were above par and honeslty better than most of my pioneers 2. Unit is super quiet and cooled my office 16x32 from 90 degrees to 66 in a hour and half of hich is quick. 3 the only con i found is the wifi control its not the greatest it connected super easy but lags. Install is straight forward i always reflare the copper lines so it doesnt leak. But do not cut the fittings on the head unit they are brazed on and are the male end. “IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A VACCUM PUMP CRACK THE LOW SIDE LINE AT THE UNIT BARELY TAKE YOUR ALLEN WRENCH AND BARELY OPEN LIQUID LINE SMALL LINE TO FLOW REFRIGERANT ONCE YOU HEAR IT START COMING OUT LOW SIDE FLARE TIGHTEN IT DOWN REAL QUICK and then open both allens fully” Overall for the price you can go wrong. At the price these are at it is cheaper if you end up with a problem to just buy another unit. The 1 star deduction is for the wifi control

Awesome unit, ice cold air in Texas heat, BUT you need to bleed the lines with a vacuum pump!!
I am so very giddy about this unit , for that price. We run a sanctuary and our volunteer cottage had a floor a/c unit , which could not keep up , when the heat in the summer hit Texas. One of our very handy volunteers, who never installed a mini-split , offered to install it. He read through the instructions, watched youtube videos and took his time to do everything properly . As I said, you do need to bleed the lines, or it will blow warm air , since I saw some reviews , with that complaint . I purchased the vacuum pump, when I purchased the mini spilt and it did an awesome job. You can install everything and then plug the pump into the outside unit and voila, freezing cold air . And it is super quiet, both, inside and out. Haven`t connected to Wifi , but the remote works perfectly fine. Love this mini split for this price . We had 3 installed in our mobile home previously, same size and we paid twice as much (install was included) , but if you are handy and follow instructions, it should be possible to do it yourself!!!!!! LOVE this unit

The review you been waiting for.
Okay guys… the review ALL of you have been WAITING FOR. I am a mechanic, I own my own business and I operate out of a shop. I am in Florida where it basically rains every single day and it also reaches ambient temperatures of 99° with 80% humidity on a regular. I purchased the 12k btu 110v mini split. It has officially been about an entire year of constant use. I mean, this thing has literally never been switched off. No couple of things I wanna cover here. So far the unit has been extremely reliable.. hasn’t had a single issue. At the time that I purchased this unit, it was about $390 and it was on sale. Me and a buddy that no HVAC were able to hook it up relatively easy and get it up and operating within about a day or two. We did have to wire up a dedicated circuit in the fuse panel. You cannot just use a house plug receptacle because the amperage is simply not high enough. It will Trip the breaker. The Wi-Fi smart connectivity was a little bit of a pain to link… basically the system operates on a older Wi-Fi band you have to literally go into your router settings and turn that old style Wi-Fi connectivity on momentarily to link up the unit. Other than that ever since it’s been fine. NOW …how does it work in cooling/ heating???? Well it does pretty good. It is quiet. My power bill only goes up about approximately 60 bucks a month during the summer. ( that is running it at 78F 24/7 ) I will admit that it starts to struggle, keeping the shop cool ( 780sqft ) when in the afternoon during the time the sun is beating on the side of the metal building that I am on…. To be fair I don’t really blame the unit. The fact I have essentially absolutely zero insulation of any kind. Really the issue I’m dealing with is infrared thermals basically turning my metal walls into a heater. So I’m really can’t fault the unit for that. It does keep it a comfortable 80 Fahrenheit during that time that the building is literally being cooked alive by the sun. The unit also does a really really good job at removing humidity, which is the most biggest thing for me. Basically, at the end of this, I say, go ahead and buy it. If this unit was gonna break, it would break in my hands. This thing runs balls to the wall in a dirty nasty shop setting. This thing sees extreme temperature changes, extreme humidity on a daily basis. She still running like a top.. one last thing to mention is this unit refrigerant which I like. It’s a lot easier to service. Some of the other units that are running that new refrigerant people don’t understand that the new refrigerant is actually something like two refrigerant mixed together. So it can be kind of difficult to fill up a system if you were to reduce the length of the copper pipe being or increase the length. I just wanted simplicity while also having a completely variable inverter system.

Very good Split-AC. Cools well, heats well. Needed to bleed lines.
Was installed by professional HVAC technician. Lines absolutely had to be bleeded. Works extremely well - its been 1 year, no complaints at all. Cools large ~600sqft above garage room very well. Even when above 110 outside in Chicago-area. Also heats very well in negative temperatures in the winter and we did have a very cold winter. Easy to use, set temp and forget. Extremely quiet too. I am very happy with it so far.

Quiet & efficient. Buying another! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
UPDATED review. Last week, our unit stopped working. The error code was no internet connection. I contacted Yitahome customer service. They are very responsive (give them 12 hours to respond; I suspect they are in Asia). They walked me through a number of steps over 3 days to find the problem. Finally, I called our local A/C tech and he found the problem after a couple of hours. Wires had become loose. He fixed the problem and we were back in business. I let Yitahome know we had fixed the problem, thanked them for their responses and then said the only thing that frustrated me was the bill from my AC repair man. They asked for a copy of my invoice and stated they would forward "some" refund. I suspected it would be $20, but they refunded me the entire amount! Problems occur with just about any manufactured product. It's not the problem that is a concern, but how a company responds to its customers. Yitahome gets more than 5 stars. We purchased to cool our upstairs bedroom. Had it professionally installed. It is whisper-quiet both inside and outside. Perfect for us. One small negative, the app is called AC Freedom. It is not Yita or Yitahome. But the QR code takes you right to the app. All hoses, etc. were included. If we had the vacuum pump, I think it is possible as a do-it-yourself install.
