On the front of the tube it says, "1.75 oz / 49g

Do you apply it all along the screw drive?

I put dabs every 12 inch on the bottom side of the screw drive and let the trolley spread the grease and after a couple of door openings, the screw drive is well lubed. It is not necessary to put globs of lube on as you only need fine coating plus you save on the Lubriplate.

Would this grease be useful in the drawer slides of older kitchen cabinets? Is there a strong smell that would be bad in a kitchen?

I can't see any reason not to use a small dab on the metal slide drawer hardware. I have not detected any obnoxious odor from the grease.

Can i apply it along the chain??

I've been using it for 18+ years, per the recommendation of the installer of the opener, on the overhead metal screw rod. Doesn't glob for me. I apply it about every 6 months. Does a great job. In fact, he said 'don't use anything else.'
