As a weight loss patient, I have to take more D3 than most people. I take 2 caps daily (100,000 iu's) plus K2 [Nutricost Vitamin K2 MK-7 100 mcg] (K2 is critical when taking large doses) and my vit D lab runs around 70. Vit D is a hormone and responsible for hundreds of processes in our body. Being low on D is not healthy. Brain fog, fatigue, and muscle aches, just to name a few, will occur if you're sub par on D. Great supplement - one of the best kept secrets of daily health and wellness. One capsule is enough for a week for many people. Remember, if your skin is more melanated, it's likely that you are more Vitamin D3 deficient. Even if you aren't - YOU ARE PROBABLY STILL DEFICIENT. I like these pills compared to a lot others that ive tried. The pill is a regular size and with 50k, i just need to take it 1x/week. Its definitely easy to swallow, and a great value for the money. The price was great. Absorbency was good too. The product doesnt have a big smell nor taste terrible, which is huge for me! Seems to be working better. Next lab test in 3 months to see how my vit D is doing! I will be buying this again!

This product is excellent! Taking this little pill once a week and receiving and keeping major results is truly amazing. I'm a 38yr old African American female and for the past 6 years I've had hip pain, initially it was off and on then over time the pain stayed constant in my right hip. I tried natural remedies, foods, stretches, exercises, massages, pain meds, and creams and they were all temporary fixes. Eventually my left hip began to pain me about a year and a half ago also. I know bone pain is normally an issue with vitamin D deficiency which all of my children have also. When I tell you that this pain I've been dealing with for the past 6 years has subsided, I mean IT IS GONE! I am always a little hesitant to change products, especially when I am not unhappy with what I am using. I have taken between 5,000 and 15,000 iu D3 daily for many years now. With other D3 products this amounts to a significant size - so I REALLY like this product. They are easy to swallow (as advertised) and the size is so much smaller than other D3 products. If you take many supplements like I do, the smaller size is a really big plus. I have purchased this several times and also purchased one for a family member because I like the size and quality. I have only been taking this a little while, but so far my Vit. D levels have remained constant.
