Paint damage on the figure - contacted Spin Master and they wouldn't issue a replacement.
I really like Spin Master's affordable figures that feel designed to be played with as well as posed and displayed. Honestly though I was disappointed when they announced the new Superman line would be a completely different scale to the majority of their 3.75" DC figures. Even more disappointing was when it became clear how many of these figures had issues with the paint application, with chipping on the logos of a lot of the Superman figures. It's especially a shame as the mold for the figure is very good for such an affordable figure. I contacted Spin Master about the issue with my figure and asked if I could have a replacement, but I was told that they didn't have any left (!) and asked if I would like a How to Train Your Dragon toy instead. I find it a bit strange that they don't have a replacement figure given that "Superman" promises to be one of the biggest cinema releases of the year. 2 stars - it's still a good figure for the price and I'm still a Spin Master fan, but I'm disappointed with this flaw and that Spin Master wouldn't issue a replacement.
