Require requires screws into the cab wood
Works like a charm. You will have to screw the attachment to the bottom of your amp cab. If you don’t want to do that, you should probably get something that uses a clamp.

Don’t buy
The metal part that has the mic clip is fine. The piece that you attach to the bottom of your amp is cheap plastic and broke when I tried to move it to another spot on the amp. If they made this with a metal instead of plastic bottom it would be fine. So, if you have to move it at all, it may likely break like mine did (even though I was really careful).

A Solid and Less Costly Mic Clamp Option for Guitar Amps
This was a less-expensive option among mic amp-clamps. I opted for the side-mount option, angled slightly upward so the mic doesn't slip out while playing. Install was easy n quick - the mounting plate went on with four screws and barely protrudes from the case, so it seems unlikely it'll catch on anything. It seems like it's going to work out very well.

Dig it!
I really like having my mic attached to my amp. So nice to be able to move it without having to re-mic every time. I haven't used live yet, as the one show I had it at the sound guy preferred to use his already set up boom mic rig. Understandable for "time" sake, however when I realized that my cab wasn't facing in towards center-stage after the show started, I couldn't move it. I WOULD have been able to had he used my AmpClamp.

Very limited
The idea is nice but not perfectly usable, unless you have small cab, such as orange cabs perhaps. I use randall RD 112 cab, and the only position that this grabber fitted is in the bottom of the cab, it is short so if you have a large cab (which my cab is not that big), this grabber might not reach to the center of the speaker. Additionally, i knew that this grabber is meant to be used with screws but i didnt know it cannot go down into my cab easily, eventually i must use a drill and at some point i didnt feel comfortable to do such a thing to my cab, with the limited cabaplity of this grabber, i felt it is not worthy to proceed with it, at the end i returned to my traditional mic mount. This purchase is fair priced thoufh but it is sunk cost for me.
