Carhartt Women's Ashland Bib Overall

I absolutely love these. I am 5’5”, 195 lbs, wear a size 16-18, depending on the manufacturer and style. I bought a size XXL, which is actually what I usually wear because I like a little room to move. I was concerned that these would swallow me whole because Carharrt tends to run big, but I decided that I would be so mad if I ordered an XL and they were snug that I erred on the side of something larger. These are perfect. If you are buying them to look cute and fit like a glove, you’re n the wrong place. If you want something that is roomy, durable, has deep pockets, had a tiny bit of stretch, and looks cute because you wish you were a hobbit, then this is perfect. I highly recommend these. I think they are true to size, but also a very relaxed fit. Awesome for rolling around in the yard, which is what I do. I would buy these again in a heartbeat, especially because I they were also a good price for a quality article of clothing that I plan to be buried in.

Fit true to size. Perfect length and even had a little room in them. No tight fit! Love them so comfortable and warm. Color is solid. Material is of great quality! Cute style. Easy to put on.

I bought these for general farm work and they are now my favorite overalls that I own!! I have several pairs of overalls for each season, Duluth gardening overalls for spring, and Insulated carhartts for winter.however I didn't have a mid weight pair yet for fall weather and cooler temps so I bought these. For reference I'm size 14 Jean's and I bought these in a large. When I first tried these on they fit good but were a bit on the tight side, however being brand new I knew they would wear in. After their first wash however they felt like they shrunk quite a bit, a title disappointed, but after wearing them 2 days afterwards they fit even better than Before!! The material of these is amazing! Not too heavy like your standard duck material, and nice and soft with a little stretch in them. another feature I love is that the shoulder straps don't have any elastic on them like your regular overalls,They are just the duck material. Which is nice because they actually stay in place instead of constantly having to adjust the straps like with ones with elastic. I'm 5'8" and the length is perfect. I'm always mucking in manure and hate when the bottoms get dirty though so I just roll these up though and it's just fine! These keep me clean when I do chores and surprisingly they aren't hot on warm days. Can't say enough good things about them! So comfy and worth every penny!

These are perfect! I was surprised how soft but durable the fabric is. The fit is as expect . Couldn't beat the price even with shipping it was barely over 50! For Carhartts! I picked these so I could dress in layers or use them in the summer. I am not disappointed!

Bibs fit as they should.

I bought the regular length overalls and they were long enough (has some extra length to it). I’m 5’4 and about 145lb and I bought the medium size that says 8-10. I have wide hips so there is not a lot of room if I want to layer in winter. I debated getting the larger size but it’s fine. I possibly could fit yoga pants underneath. The straps have some room to adjust. I wasn’t expecting the style of clasps on the straps (I didn’t read any reviews prior to buying). Although the clasps aren’t bad, they do take two hands to unclasp. I also noticed a button hole on the front and was curious as to what it was for but I read that it’s a signature design that has been there throughout the design of the overalls. I read through the reviews to see if I could find out what the button hole was for but I had to search online and it said used to be for a pocket watch to be able to connect and sit in the pocket below. I think it’s neat Carhartt continues to use it in their design. They’re a comfortable material and I was able to work on an outdoor floor sanding project and had no issues with the straps coming off while I was crouched down and hunched over. I am most likely going to buy another pair.

I can't say enough about these very well-made, adorable and versatile Carhartt overalls! Not only are they cute, but they are super comfortable with plenty of roominess and stretch, and the fabric is very strong. I bought these to work in my yard, where I do a lot of kneeling. I can easily kneel down in mulch or brush up against thorns and the fabric protects my skin. I'm 5'2" and a bit of an athletic build, and I purchased a Medium. They were VERY LONG, so I had to have them professionally hemmed, but that was the only drawback. No worries if you have a 34" inseam! These will be plenty long. This is my first Carhartt purchase and I would buy these again in a heartbeat. I can see why the brand is known for durability. Great buy!

These are super comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight and not stiff at all to hinder mobility in them. Great value at the sale price so I ordered two pairs. They don’t smell if that were an issue for some people, other than “new”. The top clips may be slightly tricky to undo if you are pushing it running to the toilet in a frantic, but I like that they don’t unlock easily with slack in the straps, like other overalls have. Easy to get on and off with loose fit. I’m 5’3” and got the XS short. I have the straps almost all the way out so they don’t look like high waters or go up my crotch when bending all the way at the knee. Reinforced knees aren’t super thick, good for bending and will use a knee pad when on concrete anyway for joints @39yrs old. Large torso pouch would make it easy to layer, but I’m only 100lbs so I could fit a sweater or 2. Love the pockets of many sizes, the zipper chest pocket and places for tools to hang. I’m glad I got two. The light pair is almost too cute to ruin actually working in, I may have to order a 3rd! I LOVE these!!
